Neat idea, I will say that. Obviously, I was anxious to read Charleston like everybody else, but this makes me hate the Windham Clan even more than before!
On a different note, this is directed more toward all us handlers, when Katz, Gregg, and JN throw you a fat pitch in the wheelhouse like this, don't be afraid to do something with it character-wise. It's neat to see how your characters respond in the situation.

It was a quick idea that I think helps tide us over for just a little bit longer now! </shout>
The real show is in 'KATZ SEW' mode and there's alot, but our summer is going to be in RIDONKULOUS MODE after it drops. V.4's first seven days of it's GENESIS, so to speak since SC3 was it's Big Bang.

My only gripe is that if I (and I'm sure others) had known, I would've approached my matchwriting differently. But it was still a very unique idea that I think is going to kick things into some directions the Windhams might not like.
It does kinda go against a few things I was trying to get across, with Ryan chuckling at what JJ Deville was doing, after saying all week that Dan was focused on winning the title alone, focused, etc. Makes it look kinda silly.
But I'll adapt.

Just play it that Dan was "putting over the swerve" but he knew about this all along.

In all seriousness, the idea actually came about from GG 24 hours before "Holds Court" was posted. We worked together to write it up...so in some ways it's representative of how much JJ Deville acted on his own...and then when the real Charleston show happens -- how much that affected the whole fed, including his own Clan who he failed to warn as well. And of course, the actual show now provides the fallout from JJ making that decision on his own too.

Just to explain what happened -- I was walking my dog and the thought of this idea came to me. I thought it was really amusing that a guy who, until six months ago, no one in NFW heard of or remembered could shut down the entire show. I wrote it up that night and sent it to Katz.
I probably should have thought it out a bit more with the details (sorry Brunk!) but I was headed out on vacation and wasn't bringing a computer with me. But thanks to everyone for humoring me and playing along with it. I knew it would throw a few things off with the real show but that came off REALLY well! I'll put some more notes in that one but awesome stuff.

It certainly didn't ruin anything. No worries! The only thing I'd have changed at ALL was Dan Ryan more annoyed at what JJ was doing than amused, but seriously, so minor. Please, it was so well written and interesting, you know I'm not really complaining.
