Re: SLAMTRACK 9: Tag Team Match - Mighty Quinn & John Johnson v. C.R.E. & Steve Jacks

"The following message has been paid for by the C.R.E party"

The sun is lighting up the pool area as we see kids and other holidaymakers enjoying the lovely weather, the screen moves to reveal Christopher Ryan Eagles, sat, well actually laid out, soaking up the sun. The Cancer has a drink of some type of cocktail, before putting it down and removing his sunglasses.

CRE:So the Mighty Quinn wants to step back into the ring with me after I saved the world from having to put up with little Quinn's? And management have given him a partner called "Normal" John Johnson? The two of you don't know what you've let yourselves in for, Steve Jackson and myself don't care. I've had a few words with him, and lets just say it's not your manhood that'll be hurting after the match. You two will never be the same again. And you can take that to the bank.

The video feed cuts....

Re: SLAMTRACK 9: Tag Team Match - Mighty Quinn & John Johnson v. C.R.E. & Steve Jacks

"You know, I uh. I still don't like these things."

[The camera opens to "Norman" John Johnson, staring at what must be a grainy webcam in a hotel room. His Mask can only hide his camera-shy nature so much.]

NJJ: "I mean, I know I have to. It's expected of me. Of all of us.

Maybe Christopher Eagles doesn't like them either. They're all...he doesn't say much. At all."

[NJJ scratches his head.]

NJJ: "Maybe he doesn't have to. I don't know. It's going to be a little nerve-wracking being out there - Steve Jackson is back, and he beat the hell out of me at the end of our match. I didn't like that, Steve - that was messed up. It hurt."

[NJJ coughs.]

NJJ: "Chris Eagles might be a match made in heaven for him, too. I watch the show, you know - I saw what he did to Quinn. Quinn was about to win cleanly, right? Then Chris had to hit him with a low blow...not cool. It's not what I stand for.

I'm trained to be a technical warrior out there. Not a lot of guys in the locker room can out-grapple me - not even the coaches. I guess it's my strength - more than promos, anyway. I hate promos.

Hate em."

[NJJ shifts in his chair and sighs.]

NJJ: "And I'm not the best when guys cheat like that. I mean, I've seen it all before, you'd think I'd have a better counter-game for it, it's just - I don't know. I guess I respect it so little, that I've never taken the time out of my day to think about it at all, because that's not wrestling to me. That's weaseling. That's being a punk.

I don't know a whole lot about my partner for SLAMTRACK 9, but he's a big kid. Seems to have his square screwed on right, even if he's still pretty green. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do out there.

...this is the part where I'm supposed to deliver a catchphrase, right? Or like...a memorable line or something. Ahhh, uh...hm."

[NJJ looks up, reaching for some line of dialogue that just isn't there.]

NJJ: "...I'm going to fight, and I'm going to show everyone why you can't count me out just yet. There's a lot of wrestling left in these bones, and it'll take more than some tattoos or a cocktail by the water to take me out. Hopefully Quinn feels the same.

....Catch!"

[NJJ reaches for his computer monitor and the camera cuts out quickly.]

Re: SLAMTRACK 9: Tag Team Match - Mighty Quinn & John Johnson v. C.R.E. & Steve Jacks

(In a cut-scene we see nothing but a RLW logo backdrop and head interviewer Arin McHenry wearing a lime-green hideous looking suit. With enthusiasm he begins to speak.)

Arin: With the excitement of Slamtrack 8 behind us we now have Slamtrack 9 coming up. On the last show we saw the professional debut of "The Mighty Quinn" as well as RLW debut of Chris Ryan. Quinn will be joining us with his thoughts about Chris Ryan.

(Quinn walks into the scene wearing a white polar bear parka. He greets Arin with a handshake.)

Arin: Welcome Quinn. You made your first professional appearance on our most recent RLW Slamtrack show against Christopher Ryan. The viewers were surprised how well you did against a skilled athlete. Could you tell us how you prepared?

Quinn: Yes, when you spend s few years of your life alone in the arctic circle dragging dead walrus or polar bear for many miles to feed your village you develop basic survival skills. It is those skills I bring to the ring with me. Strength and a will to survive is what I need to keep going.

Arin: On your debut match you it will go into the record book as a victory, a victory by disqualification, but still a victory.

Quinn: A bittersweet victory, but Christopher proved to be a coward. It is cowards like him as well as Steve Jacks is why I am here in the RLW.

Arin: You will be teaming up with John Johnson on Slamtrack.

Quinn: Yes, I will be looking forward in teaming up with an experienced honest athlete to take on these cowards. I will respect Mr. Johnson much like I will an elder. He is wise and will help prepare me in my journey.

Arin: Will he offer you knowledge? It is known John Johnson quite often doesn't come out with a victory very often. How can somebody like that help you?

Quinn: It isn't the number of victory's someone has as to a measure of there success. It is there dignity self-worth, and the knowledge from being defeated brings rich knowledge. I am not concerned about the aid Mr. Johnson can offer me.

Arin: Well, there you have it. next Slamtrack will bring some exciting tag team action.

(Scene fades as Quinn looks into the camera with a calm sober expression.)
