Soemthing to ponder?

So I have been looking around a lot at different leagues on the net .. especially leagues that have consistently put out weekly cards for longer than a year..

And something has really struck me...

The results for a match are like .. a paragraph long. In fact, if you look at the Onslaught results from EPW .. that's what these leagues post as their weekly shows ... of course with promos and segments and stuff in between.

And I'm not saying that this is a bad thing at all.. and looking at the forums I didn't see any complaints from their handlers either.

But it makes me wonder... are FWC'ers greedy?

Maybe this is why some leagues have RP limits .. because they don't want their handlers to RP their asses off for a paragraph? I dunno. I just thought it was weird .. b/c being a part of this community for so very, very, omg I have no life, long... I guess I never realized how prevalent it was outside of us.

I know that is why I made the 2 RP limit for RAPTURE because I didn't want people to put out tons of RPs and get a 4 paragraph summary of the action ... but when looking at these leagues, RAPTURE cards would be like PPVs!

Your thoughts on the whole thing?

I love Full PBP ... and I'm not saying NEW is scaling back results so that we put out a more timely cards.. but I'm just curious as to what you guys think about this (and this isn't just to NEW roster members.. this is for you lurkers out there, too)..

I mean, even looking back at the first few shows where I did shortform ... if you compare them to the shortforms I do now .. well, you'll notice a big difference in length as the ones I do now are beefier...

So discuss.

I think shortform keeps the fans and handlers more able to read through the entire show, learn about what everyone's doing as well as themselves.

As far as PBP, I'd use that mostly for the PPVs

Ive never seen short form results... so this is a first for me
