In an effort to inject some hype back into this thing:

Jeff Andrews vs. Joey Melton

Andrews has done everything he's had to in order to advance this far. He runs into Melton here, who's been phenomenally entertaining throughout this tournament while at the same time never making me feel like he's clearly won any of his matches. The underdog thing seems to be working for Andrews thus far in his run through this tournament, though, so I'll give Jeff the win here nice and close.

Spike Saunders vs. Cameron Cruise

Spike's managed to navigate the tournament beautifully, winning matches that he should and defeating Zero, which was a tough stylistic clash. Triple C hasn't super-impressed me this tournament. I have Saunders winning here by a fairly comfortable margin to set up what will be a tough bracket final for him one way or another.

Pete Whealdon vs. Orphan

Tough bout. Whealdon's coming off of a confidence-boosting victory and flying under the radar for much of the tournament. Suffice it to say you can't fly under the radar when you're in the S16 anymore. I think there are some people who see this match as a "Winner Gets To Lose To Strife In The Bracket Final" Match, and I think Aaron and I are going to do our damnedest here to prove neither of us is an easy apppointment.

Best of luck!

Castor Strife vs. Anarky

Anarky is rock-solid, no question about that, but I feel like Strife is better at the game they both want to play, which makes it harder for Anarky to spring the upset here. Anarky is a good writer who deserves his spot here, but I'm going to find it very hard to see anything other than Castor in the bracket final.

Sean Edmunds vs. Eli Flair

Flair's been a machine in this thing so far, and I think he's survived the biggest early threats to taking him out. Derailing him en route to the bracket three title is going to be a herculean task, and I think he has the easiest path to his bracket final of any of the "big names."

No disrespect to Sean, but Eli's been able to walk the line between trash talk and story as effectively as anyone in this tournament. Flair wins and moves along.

Kendall Codine vs. Kiyomori

Tight contest coming up here, I think. Both guys won what I considered close decisions in round three to set up a big round four matchup. Flip a coin, IMO. Winner here has an uphill climb against Flair, but this tournament's seen a ton of upsets, so anything goes.

Freddie Sagawa vs. The Deacon

The much vaunted, as picked by me, Match Of The Round. This is the toughest test to date for both gentlemen in the tournament. Sagawa has some very vocal fans, while Deacon's been quietly racking up his wins as he moves through the bracket. I like Sagawa here very close, setting up what could be an epic bracket final against the winner of the next match.

Jack Harmen vs. Pat Gordon Jr.

Will Ford's vacation cost him? That's the major question to me here, as Gordon's solid, but Harmen is coming off knocking off one of the tournament favorites. I think if both men are 100% on their games, the Former High Flyer wins it. If his quality drops, it's anyone's matchup here.

I'm not a judge anymore, so I'm free to make predictions!

Melton d. Andrews - Andrews has had a great showing, but Melton is in this to win it. I think if Melton gets past here, he's getting to the finals. If Andrews gets past Melton, kudos! Whoever wins this in my eyes gets to the final four.

Cruise d. Saunders - Sorry Dusty. I think Siegal wants to prove to Pete right that this is his time!

Orphan d. Pete Whealdon - I've known Sean for a while, and I know he's going to bring it. Plus, I'm going to go with my picks BEFORE this tournament started because I picked Orphan vs...

Castor Strife d. Anarky - Castor's on a roll. It's going to be a great rp'd match but I think, as Sean said, they play similar games and Castor's on the upswing, whereas Anarky is "falling" after his EPW title loss.

Eli Flair d. Sean Edmunds - I think this is the match that could trip up Pete. But I think Pete's too head strong to let that happen. Edmunds is a SOLID rper and could easily get the upset.

Codine d. Kiyomori. - This is the one match I don't really have a strong feeling either way. I seriously flipped a coin. Two face it.

Sagawa d. Deacon - To keep my predictions from Challonge as they were, I'm picking Sagawa over Deacon. But this is going to be one of, if not the best rped contest of the round.

Harmen d. Gordon Jr. - Cause I'm me. And I'm just better than Ernie. :) BOOM. CHALLENGE LAID DOWN!

But don't forget, Castor has also been brought to his lowest point by the clever machinations of Eric Dane--- ohhh..... that's right.

To actually contribute:

Melton d. Andrews - Because he's Joey Melton.
Cruise d. Saunders - Because it's Cammy's destiny to either lose to Joey Melton or become made by beating Joey Melton

Pete Whealdon d. Orphan - Just a feeling.
Castor Strife d. Anarky - Because CASTOR STRIFE

Eli Flair vs. Sean Edmunds - Of all the time we've both been part of this community these two characters have never faced off. This is going to be fun.
Codine d. Kiyomori. - Because Kent is back, baby!

Sagawa vs. Deacon - Because f'k you, I'm not making this choice until I've seen them both write against each other. And then f'k you again because I'm glad I don't have to judge it.

Harmen d. Gordon Jr. - Because he's Jack Harmen.

...didn't Anarky just win the TV Title in EPW? Does it get more "upswing" than winning a title?

Jeff Andrews vs. Joey Melton

As someone who's followed Andrews for a long time, he's at the absolute peak of his game. If anyone that's left in this tournament can handle Melton, it's Andrews.

Spike Saunders vs. Cameron Cruise

Pete Whealdon vs. Orphan

When Aaron sets his mind to it, he's a tough-ass SOB to put out. Not that Orphan will lay down and die...he's been an intriguing read so far. But I think Aaron is far more dangerous when he's pushed hard.

Castor Strife vs. Anarky

Anarky will make this a very VERY close match.

Sean Edmunds vs. Eli Flair

Kendall Codine vs. Kiyomori

Freddie Sagawa vs. The Deacon

I'm a fan of both of these guys, so this is the hardest pick for me of the tournament. I'm picking Sagawa simply because he's in the groove of facing a tough challenger in Shamon.

Jack Harmen vs. Pat Gordon Jr.

Sure, why don't I actually contribute to the discussion for once.

Jeff Andrews vs. Joey Melton

This is a really tough call. Melton has been entertaining as always, but Andrews has been absolutely on fire. Putting down Stevens was certainly no small thing. I have to believe Melton eeks this one out, but only just barely, and I wouldn't be surprised to see this one go either way.

Spike Saunders vs. Cameron Cruise

As good as Cruise has been, I've really enjoyed Saunders' stuff and he seems like a really tough out here. Both guys are firing on all cylinders right now. I'll give a slight nod to Saunders, but it's gonna be close.

'Suite' Pete Wheadon vs. Orphan

I've really enjoyed Orphan here and as much as I've enjoyed Wheadon, I think Orphan has been writing at a higher level lately and I think he'll escape this one.

Castor V. Strife vs. Anarky

Well everybody else thinks Strife is gonna pull it out, so hey, who am I to question them? Go Team Strife?

Sean Edmunds vs. Eli Flair

I think this could be a significant trap match for Flair. Edmunds has been kicking serious butt and I don't think I've seen him write this well in awhile (no offense, old buddy!). If Eli brings his A-game, I think he escapes, but if he falters at all, Edmunds will capitalize. I guess I'd say Flair, but... yeah.

Kendall Codine vs. Kiyomari

I like Codine, but Kiyomari has been writing some strong material and I don't see that changing now. Unless he doesn't put up some RP's, I'll take Kiyomari here.

Freddie Sagawa vs. The Deacon

Ooooh, great match. Sagawa has really impressed me so far. I think most of us know what Deacon can bring, but I'm gonna take Sagawa here in what may be the closest match of the tournament so far. If they both bring their A games, the real winners will be the readers! Wow... I am kind of ashamed of writing something that silly.

Jack Harmen vs. Pat Gordon, Jr.

No offense to Mr. Gordon, Jr., but Harmen is really bringing the heat right now and I don't think Gordon is gonna have enough to slow him down. In fact, I'm not sure anybody in Bracket 4 does. He's going to be a really tough out.

I'd say that there's a direct correlation between awesomesity and number of TV titles held. Just sayin'.
