[Fade into Tom Holzerman in front of the big screen, all three TEAM Championship Belts staggered around the Merritt Trophy.]

TH: Folks, you're looking at the hardware, what everyone who signs up for a TEAM event wants to hold. Three Championship belts were up for grabs tonight, including one that is brand spankin' new. Two men got that much closer to holding that trophy tonight. We have all the winners and highlights for you... EPICENTER is next!

[Cue up "Down" by Stone Temple Pilots.
Cut to JASON PAYNE, shouting out in primal fury with a man's blood as his war paint.
Cut to MR. AMAZING! delivering Amazing Grace to JAKE HIX.
Cut to YORI YAKAMO, JR. grappling PROFESSOR TREMENDOUS.
Cut to ULYSIS SOLIAN staring down RAVAGER.

Cut to KARL BROWN hoisting the Merrit Trophy, then flash cut to D! with the Championship of Champions Belt across his waist, then flash cut to Team NEW hoisting the Dupree Cup.

Cut to: The Epicenter logo once more, fading into Tom Holzerman and Steve Murray at the Epicenter desk.]

TH: Hello ladies and gentlemen, I'm Tom Holzerman...

SM: And I'm Steve Murray. Welcome to EPICENTER! Three Championships on the line earlier tonight Tom, and none of them were able to wrest center stage from the Tournament.

TH: That's right, Steve. This may have been our biggest SuperShow yet, and we kick off all the highlights with some semifinal action.

[Cut to Holzerman, close up with a Hart/Solian inset.]

TH: You couldn't have asked for a bigger, more intense, more historically bound semifinal match than this. Ulysis Solian, the man formerly known as Suicide and the Boston Regional Champion. Shawn Hart, the Prime Minister of Gettin' Sinister, the Portland Regional Champ. These men have fought against each other several times, and they've teamed with each other, most recently in A1E. You knew this match wouldn't disappoint, but admit it, you couldn't pick who was going to win.

[Cut to the ring at the Yorilove.com Palace of Dildos Casino and Hotel.]

TH V/O: Hart starts off furiously here, raining in rapid fire closed fists, head referee Kevin Bates trying like hell to stop him, but you can't deny the jiggy freshness of one Shawn Hart.

[Cut to Hart whipping Solian.]

TH V/O: He keeps up the high-energy offense here, sending Solian seven feet in the air with that back body drop. That might look like a simplistic wrestling move, but lemme tell you, you don't land well going that high up in the air.

[Cut to Solian running the ropes.]

TH V/O: Solian comes back shortly here, nailing Hart with a big clothesline.

[Cut to Hart behind Solian.]

TH V/O: Hart's grip on the early part of this match was pretty ironclad though. He comes right back and nails Solian with that side backbreaker. Nice.

[Cut to Solian with Hart retreating back.]

TH V/O: Solian would not be denied though. He starts laying the chest-reddening knife edge chops on the chest of the Phenom here. Wrestling's Guiltiest Pleasure getting the entire Yorilove.com Casino and Hotel joining in a chorus of "WOOOS!" It's a beautiful thing, Folks.

[Cut to Solian with Hart on his knees.]

TH V/O: And here, Hart is about to get a bit of the boot to the face. BAM! Tajiri-style kick right to the grill, and Solian can just taste that berth into the finals right there.

[Cut to Hart pushing Solian back into the corner now.]

TH V/O: But Hart knocks that taste out of Solian's mouth, driving him into the corner with that barrage of European uppercuts.

[Cut to Solian with Hart in a front facelock.]

TH V/O: Solian comes roaring back though, a pair of the Enforcer moves. DDT here...

[Cut to Solian whipping Hart.]

TH V/O: And spinebuster here! Solian in control and he's looking to put Hart away with the Capicoo, but Hart rakes the eyes. Classic Hart move right there.

[Cut to Hart running the ropes.]

TH V/O: Hart's got the upperhand now, and he nails Solian with that Texas Tornado! Shades of the late Kerry Von Erich, and Hart now looking to put the match away.

[Cut to Hart with Solian set up for the Hart On (Diamond cutter)]

TH V/O: Hart going for his trademark Hart Attack, but Solian pushes him into the ropes. Hart comes staggering back, and you don't get up from this move, not at all. BURNING HAMMER! and the pin is academic. Ulysis Solian makes his way into the Merritt Trophy Finals. Steve?

[Cut back to the studio, Steve Murray in front of a Payne/Ryan inset.]

SM: To say that Jason Payne has been playing with house money would be an insult to the job he's done in winning the Memphis Regional Championship after making the most with a play-in. No matter what you think of the idea of play-ins, you can't deny the run he went on. Still, you also can't deny Dan Ryan's ability. He didn't make it out of Mexico City as the Regional Champion for nothing. Still, he made this far last year and flamed out. Would lightning strike twice?

[Cut to the Casino ring.]

SM V/O: Payne got off to a fast start, going in with a running elbow right to the Ego Buster's face.

[Cut to Ryan chopping Payne.]

SM V/O: But much like Solian did earlier in the night, Dan Ryan had the entire arena chanting "WOO!" with those chops.

TH V/O: Beautiful, ain't it?

SM V/O: I would concur.

[Cut to Payne back on the offensive.]

SM V/O: Payne using every part of his body as weaponry though, fighting right back with elbows to the face and then a big, Andre-styled headbutt. Dan Ryan may have needed plastic surgery after the match with all the shots Payne landed on his face.

[Cut to Payne attempting to whip Ryan off the ropes.]

SM V/O: The man dubbed too hot for TEAM thinks he's in control here, but Ryan thinks otherwise, reversing that whip into a short-arm clothesline. Just like that, the Dog of War gets heeled on the canvas.

[Cut to Ryan whipping Payne.]

SM V/O: Unlike Payne, Ryan was successful in his Irish whip attempt, following through with a spine-tingling spinebuster.

[Cut to Ryan with Payne in the bearhug position.]

SM V/O: And here he goes with one of his trademarks, the belly to belly. Impressive move especially given that Jason Payne is no flyweight here.

[Cut to Payne grabbing Ryan.]

SM V/O: Payne comes back, and has Festivus come early, because there's a feat of strength right there. Sidewalk slam on the 335 pound monster. Impressive move by the Dog of War.

[Cut to Ryan behind Payne.]

SM V/O: Payne comes right back, and these two men are throwing everything short of thermonuclear warheads at each other. Snap dragon suplex, and you'd think Payne's neck is snapped again, right?

[Cut to Payne whipping Ryan off the ropes.]

SM V/O: Wrong! Payne hits Ryan with the powerslam out of the Irish whip. Big move that turned some of the tides and gave Payne some momentum that lead into this...

[Cut to Payne with Ryan in a headscissors.]

SM V/O: ...piledriver. Payne paying tribute to the region he won... and this...

[Cut to Payne with Ryan in the cobra clutch.]

SM V/O: ...shades of the first ever Champion of Champions, D!, with a variant of the NyQuil Driver (Cobra Clutch Edgecution). Ryan is down, and Payne thinks he's out. He grabs Ryan to his feet, but Ryan shoves Payne away. Payne comes in and Ryan just tackles him to the canvas HARD!

[Cut to Ryan with Payne in a standing headscissors.]

SM V/O: And it was all downhill from there for the FREE FOR ALL~! Champion. Humility Bomb and Dan Ryan moves onto the finals.

[Cut back to the studio.]

SM: Ryan and Solian, two of the most legendary names in all the game, for all the marbles. Who's got the edge? Well, we'll find out next week. As for this week, we had another main event for the show, right Tom?

TH: Yeah, but it wasn't as competitive as the other two. In fact, it was pretty one-sided.

[Cut to Lindsay Troy with Mr. Amazing staggering.]

TH V/O: The Championship of Champions match was all Lindsay Troy, it was almost like Mr. Amazing! didn't even show up. Only notable for this, an amazing leg-trap sunset flip bomb that won Troy the belt. By Royal Decree... Lindsay Troy is now the Queen of the TEAM Ring.

[Cue up Led Zeppelin, "No Quarter." Cut to a shot of Ravager and Nova battling it out inside the cage.]

SM V/O: Coming up after the break, we crowned a brand-new, first-ever Challenge Champion. Was it Ravager or Nova? Highlights after the break.

[Cut to commercial for Mazda... ZOOM ZOOM! We love foreign advertising dollars!]

[Fade back to the studio, Steve Murray in front of a Challenge Championship inset.]

SM: After months of hype, the TEAM Challenge Championship was finally contested for the first time at SuperShow III. The all-stipulation match Championship has been designed to see how wrestlers perform under certain circumstances. The first set, in the cage. Ravager, Chaos and Nova entered. Who'd escape as the first Champion?

[Cut to the caged ring at the Yorilove.com Casino.]

SM V/O: I'll tell you who wasn't much of a factor in this match. Chaos. It was like he was misfiring all night. Here Ravager belts him with a big leg lariat.

[Cut to Nova behind Chaos.]

SM V/O: And here, Nova nails him with a reverse DDT. Tough night for Chaos, but he'll be back, don't worry about him.

[Cut to Ravager with Nova in a front facelock.]

SM V/O: Ravager strikes early on Nova, here nailing the Risen Star with several shots to the grill out of that facelock. Brutal.

[Cut to Nova trying to land a punch on Ravager.]

SM V/O: Nova tries to strike back, but when the NAPW Champion blocks your punch, you don't block his headbutts. Sick impression of Zinedine Zidane there, and Nova is reeling.

[Cut to Nova running the ropes.]

SM V/O: The PRIME Universal Champion needed to do something to get back in this match, and he did, by throwing everything including the kitchen sink into Ravager's gut.

[Cut to Nova behind Ravager.]

SM V/O: And no matter how good you are, nothing can prepare you for being pantsed. Legendary Depants Combo, and Ravager's bum and jockstrap are revealed to the entire world. Par for the course, considering the venue.

[Cut to Ravager with Nova in another front facelock.]

SM V/O: But you don't humiliate Ravager and not get away with it. DDT and a beaut here from the assassin.

[Cut to Nova with Ravager in a double underhook.]

SM V/O: Nova comes back though, and sorry, but there's No Vacancy [double underhook implant DDT] at the Nova hotel.

[Cut to Nova trying to climb the cage out in the corner.]

SM V/O: End of the match here, and Nova trying to escape out of the corner. Ravager's up there and he's fighting him to get down. They're jostling for position, and Nova looks like he's about to break free but Ravager nails him with a desperation elbow to the kidneys. Nova's grip, failing, and Ravager takes the opportunity to turn Nova around and... THUD! Nails him with a brainbuster off the top. And if you look at this replay, you'll see that Nova's head hits off the top turnbuckle on the way down. Nova's out cold, Chaos is crawling around the ring, and Ravager escapes the cage to claim the Challenge Championship.

[Cut to the ring with Dr. Tittylover, Foxx, Harley Douglas and Jason Payne all in it.]

TH V/O: How about that, NAPW guys are the first to hold two of the three TEAM titles. Anyway, onto the third title match of the night, which oddly happened first of the three. Would it be 0 for 2 for Payne tonight? FREE FOR ALL~! Championship, and four competitors take the action on. It was a melee early, as Harley Douglas just nails Foxx with a nasty lariat. He turns around and boom! Mongolian chop from Dr. Tittylover, who summarily gets waylaid by an elbow to the face by Jason Payne. The Champ is the king of the mountain, right? Wrong. Foxx comes right back and wallops him with a spin kick to the dome.

[Cut to Tittylover staring Douglas down.]

TH V/O: Dr. Tittylover eyes up HD right here, going to clothesline him over the top, but Douglas is sharp, ducking and dumping The Good Doctor himself over the top. How about that for a reversal, eh?

[Cut to Payne dragging Foxx to the ropes.]

TH V/O: And here, Jason Payne is about ready to get some revenge on Foxx and dump her out of the ring, but Douglas comes right behind Payne and levels him in the back of the head with a haymaker. He goes to throw Foxx over, but Foxx has other ideas, shoulderbutting Douglas onto the apron. Foxx goes to slap Douglas of the apron, but Douglas is having none of it, slapping Foxx's hand away and giving her a vertical suplex over the top rope from the apron? How about that for an elimination, and Douglas stays in the ring by breaking his fall on the apron.

[Cut to Douglas sizing up Payne as Payne is on the ropes.]

TH V/O: And just like that, Douglas is about to clean house and impressively win the FFA~! Championship. He charges in for the clothesline on Payne, but there's one problem. Douglas' momentum takes him over the top rope and he lands on the floor. Does Payne? Nope! The Champion deftly holds onto the ropes and flips over the apron. He's a little worse for wear folks, but he's still the FREE FOR ALL~! Champion.

[Cue up Led Zeppelin, "No Quarter." Cut to Ace Mason and Troy Douglas battling around the arena.]

SM V/O: When we come back, another Douglas had a score to settle against Ace Mason in a falls count anywhere affair. Would this turn out differently than the tournament encounter? Stay tuned, more highlights next.

[Cut to a commercial for Papa John's and their new Italian meats pizza. Papa John's: 45% fewer people vomit after eating their pizza than did three years ago. Score!]

[Fade right back into a shot of the aisle at the Yorilove.com Casino.]

SM V/O: Back into the swing of things, and it's Troy Douglas against Ace Mason, falls count anywhere. Mason's got the upper hand early. He grabs Douglas and whips him right into the guard barrier, slapping hands and even taking the beer off a guy wearing a Troy Douglas t-shirt. He just tosses it away. Needless to say, that thirsty fan got a free beer.

[Cut to the backstage hallways.]

SM V/O: More whippage, this time, Mason tosses the former Philadelphia Eagle right into some crates and comes rushing in with a knee, but Douglas moves and Mason eats the crate. That couldn't feel good.

[Cut to gift shop.]

SM V/O: In the gift shop, and Douglas is reaching behind him for a weapon. He finds one, and it's the Black Thunder Yori 12" Special. He plasters Mason with it, and then realizing what it is, drops the sex toy in disgust. I think he even threw up in his mouth just a little bit.

[Cut to the strip club.]

SM V/O: Of course, the Yorilove.com Palace of Dildos Casino and Hotel comes replete with its own strip club, and both Mason and Douglas made great use of it. They barge in, and Mason just tosses Douglas right into the stripper pole. That leggy blonde performer seemed to take umbrage, but Mason, smoother than silk, slips her a Benjamin for her troubles. Lap dance city, but you can't keep your eyes off the prize, even there's a prize like that in front of you. Douglas yanks Mason by the shoulder and nails him with a reverse DDT. Douglas then whips Mason towards the door, but Mason reverses it and sends Douglas flying into the bouncer, a big 400 pound black man that I have on good authority is named Bubba. Bubba is not pleased and he gets all up in Mason's grill about having a guy thrown at him. Mason obliges, but in a split second, Douglas sneaks up behind him and gets a school boy roll up. Flash pin, and Mason is pissed. He takes a shot at Douglas before Bubba and the rest of the security breaks the fight up. Douglas may have won the battle, but this war may just be far from over.

[Cut to the ring.]

TH V/O: In the other match this evening, Beast took on Kin Hiroshi, and while I can say there are no strippers or sex toys in this match, the action was still pretty good. Beast starts out quick, here he's nailing Hiroshi with various strikes to the chest and face.

[Cut to Hiroshi running the ropes.]

TH V/O: Hiroshi comes right back with a knee right to Beast's face.

[Cut to Beast behind Hiroshi.]

TH V/O: Back and forth match, as Beast just nails Hiroshi with that German suplex.

[Cut to Hiroshi in front of Beast.]

TH V/O: But Hiroshi fights back, here dropping Beast with a big Michinoku Driver.

[Cut to Beast and Hiroshi locking up.]

TH V/O: End of the match, and there are some shenanigans going on here. Hiroshi and Beast tangling up, and Hiroshi goes for the suplex. He's blocked and Beast kicks him in the gut and nails him with the sunset flip. Referee Monet Samuel is in an awkward position and she can't see that Beast is both grabbing the ropes AND pulling Hiroshi's tights. Beast gets the win, but Hiroshi is INCENSED! He's screaming at Beast as the Alpha Male is walking away, but Beast just smarmily smiles at him. I bet this one ain't over either.

[Cut back to the studio.]

SM: But I'll tell you what is over, Tom. This show.

TH: Yep. Tune in next time, when we break down SuperShow IV and the TEAM Invitational Finals. Of course, you can watch it live on Alternative Sports Network too. But for now, we're out. For Steve Murray, I'm Tom Holzerman. Goodnight everyone!
