Nope.

Reigns will win the Rumble and I wouldn't be surprised if they had him break his own record that he set in this years Rumble for most eliminations.

Then Reigns will go to WrestleMania and beat Lesnar for the belt.

I'd even be fine with that result honestly. A fourway match up at the end of the Rumble with Reigns, Punk, Bryan, and Cena. Reigns goes over to take on ONE IN TWENTY ONE AND ONE! I'm happy. I love Heyman on the microphone. The combination of Lesnar/Heyman is a good one.

"Malpracticing Doctor of Thugganomics!"

I never cared much about Cena and his ~FIVE MOVES OF DOOM. For most of SCSA's (after the neck injury) career he's been Thesz Press, Mudhole stomping, random punches, fingerflip offs and stunners. The Rock is more or less the same. Hogan of course is "guilty" of it, but his earlier stuff is pretty good (I mean he was trained by Kojima who has quite a few famous students). My theory on why they do it is because they don't want to put too much pressure on the higher ranked performers to really sell their offense, protect them and give them less of a chance of botches.

My only beef is that Cena's too watered down. I'd like him to get injured to refresh his character.

Um, Hogan was trained by Hiro Matsuda unless Satoshi Kojima is such a fucking prodigy that he trained Hogan when he was only 6 years old.

Two TNA-related rumors floating around.

1.) That Spike and TNA are negotiating again, though "negotiating" is more like "Spike is dictating terms for a new deal to TNA, and hopefully one of them is Russo AND Dixie out."

2.) That Sinclair might sell ROH so they can buy college football rights. And that Spike is one of the interested parties.

keep Davey Richards out and #2 becomes the best possible scenario.

Cena's problem isn't so much that he's watered down, it's that he's loose as hell in the ring. He barely even touches the guy in his STF and none of his moves have much impact at all. The Rock was guilty of this too, but his charisma and ability to hold the crowd in the palm of his hand masked it pretty well.

Hogan was a master of controlling a crowd and had charisma off the charts too, but most of his work during his prime also looked like it had real impact to it. He made bodyslams look like they were breaking ribs. It got more loose as he got older, but what he lost in that sort of impact he gained in working a crowd even more. Dude turned The Rock heel mid-match. That's real charisma.

If you're talking about their Wrestlemania match, then it's more accurate to say the crowd forced Hogan and The Rock into an impromptu double turn, and that happened as soon as both guys were in the ring. The Toronto fans were so vocally behind Hogan and against Rock, they had no choice but to play along.

They had a choice. The crowd is vocally against Cena every single night and he chooses to shoot the smug little bullshit grin and keep trudging forward as the hero no one asked for.

Hogan and Rock had a choice to do what they were taught to do, listen to the crowd and interpret. Now the 'E is so afraid to lose an inch in a soft market, they go against 90 years of tried and true formula.

Hey Hunter, how much does it cost to get the WWE network again? I forgot.

On a related note, why is the heel COO of the company the guy who's shilling the Network? Why would I want to give my money to this asshole?*

*Which I can't do anyway because I'm in Canada. Two strikes, Hunter.

Today's installment of "WWE doesn't know what the hell they're doing," brought to you by Electronic Karate Fighters is:

(spoiler alert)

A fucking lumberjack match for Rollins/Ambrose!

because handcuffing the one match out of SummerSlam I might have liked to a shitty gimmick match is just the thing to make me part with $9.99 a month!

Jesus.

*buys the Ustream of New Japan's next PPV instead*
