APPEARANCE
Big, thick, and with a bit of a paunch (not a full-blown beer gut, though), Mushigihara is built most like an offensive lineman, or Bully Ray/Bubba Ray Dudley, take your pick. His face is usually covered in a black mask with a gold insect face-like design (imagine Ultramantis Black), including his eyes and mouth; however, as the result of being forced to remove his burning mask from his face at Grindhouse: CANADA, it is not unusual for Mushi to be seen unmasked. In this event, one can see his face is similarly pudgy and boyish, and his hair usually cut fairly short.

RING ATTIRE
Other than his mask, Mushigihara wears a unitard-like outfit (basically a singlet with legs), also black with gold streaks riding up the legs, and black boots with gold laces. Black kneepads with gold trim, too.

BACKGROUND
The monster known as Mushigihara, despite his tower presence and intimidating aura, has humble beginnings as Eiichiro Yamazaki in the Ibaraki section of Japan; always a big individual, he found himself a major player in the ranks of amateur sumo in his youth, and was set to go pro, even deciding on the name "Mushigihara" as his shikona, or ring name, before the world of professional sumo was rocked by a gambling scandal in 2010.

Not wanting to involve himself in the fallout, Yamazaki swiftly left sumo behind, and transitioned into professional wrestling, but his lack of conditioning (brought on by his weight), as well as his lack of notoriety in sumo, meant he consistently struggled in his new endeavor. However, a chance encounter with Eddie Dante in 2011 would set the course of his career.

Seeing potential in the mammoth, Dante took Yamazaki home to America, where he trained him in the ways of professional wrestling and helped him maximize his conditioning for the purposes of the squared circle. Using his shikona as a pro wrestler, Yamazaki started wearing a mask with an insect motif ("mushi" being Japanese for "insect") and using a simple, yet effective in-ring style that put his size and strength to good use, but also used his improved stamina as the fuel tank for an unstoppable war machine.

Anything else you think we’d need to know about a character in order to write them into the Battlemania event?

MANAGER
Eddie Dante. 5’11”, 220 pounds, a former wrestler in his own right who still looks the part. His blond hair is slicked back, and he is always dressed to the nines in a suit with a Chesterfield coat. He also carries an omnipresent black wooden cane, which he will not hesitate to used as a weapon when needed.

His role as manager and advocate for the God-Beast has been compared to that of Paul Heyman for Brock Lesnar, and he will serve as his voice, given Mushi’s lack of grasp of the English language. He also seems to be his voice of reason, the only man able to calm him down once he gets riled up, and even then, it can be a struggle.
