Name: "The Main Event" Matt Ford
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 278 lbs.
Hails From: San Diego, CA
Music: "Welcome Home" - Coheed & Cambria

Physical Appearance: Athletic, muscular build. Mid-length black hair, usually pulled back into a pony tail. Goatee. Blue eyes.
Ring Attire: Black biker-length tights with a stylized 'Main Event' scrawled across the back side. Black knee-pads, elbow pads, and black boots with silver accents. White wrist tape.

In-Ring Style: High Impact. A lot of hard strikes and suplexes blended with as many heelish tactics and as much arrogant taunting and show-boating as possible.

Moveset:
Lariat
Rolling Elbow
Spinebuster (of the Arn Anderson variety)
Gourdbuster
DDT
Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex
Release German Suplex
Release Dragon Suplex
Exploder Suplex
Capture Suplex

Finisher:
Fordplex - Half Nelson Suplex
Fordplex II: Championship Edition - Cobra Clutch Suplex

Spots: I'm pretty open on this. Anything generally despicable and cheap to generate as much heel heat as possible, he'll do.

Personality: Arrogant, mouthy, brash, and uncouth. Speaks his mind, regardless of whom it might offend. Utterly convinced of his own superiority, and perfectly willing to let the world know about it at every opportunity. Conniving and devious, a heel to his very core.
Background: Matt Ford was always a big deal in the wrestling business. Since making his debut in 1999 with the XWF, Ford bullied, connived, cheated, and ran roughshod over every company he wrestled in, achieving a reputation as one of the biggest troublemakers in the business. Unfortunately for the business, however, Ford also had unspeakable amounts of talent....talent that couldn't be ignored, no matter how much of an outspoken, controversial prick he happened to be. Any promoter who took the self-proclaimed "Main Event" on his roster would undoubtedly have innumerable headaches to deal with...headaches that would be quickly surpassed by the upswell in gate receipts. However, in recent years, Ford became more and more lax in his craft, missing dates, failing to meet commitments, and generally behaving like an intolerable bastard without the promising upside he'd had in his early career. His drawing power diminished, finally giving promoters the cause they'd needed to send him packing, almost leaving him blackballed from the industry. Bloodied but unbowed, Ford re-dedicated himself to the gym, and the sport, and now looks to regain his former glory (and be more of an insufferable, loud-mouthed prick than ever) in the NLW.
