...if the show results were like, a page? Results, some tiny amounts of color.

And then for the future, the word-count limit being shortened further and show results continuing to be 1 page max, expediting the whole process?

Let me know your thoughts below. There are other things I have in mind for how I want to book the cards and things but figure the discussion for all that should happen after MASS TRANSIT.

Nothing wrong with short form in my mind. All this wrestling just gets in the way of story. lol

There once was a guy from nantucket...

No, wrong reply. There once was a fed called Just Wrestling whose whole point was the RPing - the results were one line with a bit of a writeup. Save the longish short forms for the major events like Mass Transit. Any results that you can't bang out yourself in an evening is too much for what you want this place to be.

For people with specific ideas, what else you do is write the whole card and if someone wants to write their own match to get something across, you give them until a specific day and then post. If it's the accepted rule, it's the accepted rule and I think we all accept it.

If getting results out faster and keeping the ball rolling is your overall goal, then yeah, a one-page expedited format would probably help in that effort.

Speaking truthfully, I'm not crazy about a shorter word-limit, and I think taking away long-form results pretty much nixes the benefits of shows that give storytelling opportunities. But I know from experience how much of a pain in the ass it is trying to write all that out... even if it is a small indie fed. Do what's best for you, and I'll try to adapt my style to it.
