This is how you end the ULTRATITLE:

Congratulations to the FWC, as a project was completed successfully in the fact that it was finished in a relatively timely fashion, it brought a lot of outside eyes into the community (which has definitely helped the affiliated federations) and it lit a lot of fires under a lot of asses.

Congratulations to Pete, for manning up and handling business getting this thing done.

Congratulations to Billy for winning, you did your thing and you did it your way. Much respect.

Everything else going on right now is irrelevant, let us move on with a successful giant tournament under our belts as a community and stop lending credence to known assholes, idiots, morons, and trolls by continuing to respond to their idiocy.

Thanks, come again.

Absolutely.

This is basically the gist of my response to Warren.

There was a lot of good, with some hiccups. These things don't run themselves, and again, in my opinion the guy who did the best at the most important time won the whole thing.

Word.

Justin,

I don't think anything else is going on right now. Really, I don't. If it is, I really don't care. Unless it can improve what we're doing.

But my real reason for writing was to say thanks (and this is in all seriousness). My goal was to point out the positives and negatives from the tourney experience. I did that w/ what needed adjusted, but I failed to comment on what went well - something you quickly jumped on (and did so quite succintly, I might add). Two huge things happened - the tourney finished and it brought people here who wouldn't have come otherwise. I'm certain that alone was worth the proverbial price of admission. And good job (and luck) to those benefiting!

Don't sweat it. When "angry Justin" points out a positive, we'd best make sure an echo is heard!

But my hope isn't to dwell on any negatives as much as look for ways to improve. I think the tournament, overall, was a huge success. NFW garnered some good talent, Voss is running his IGC, and guys I hadn't seen in years are back and putting stuff out there (EZ, K9, Blade, etc.), EFG's listening audience jumped up (from what I heard, I think). And those are only the things I know, and I don't have the time to follow everything.

My hope is that each time we do this (and I *do* think we'll do it, or something like it, again) that we will have plans in place, preparations made, and it'll be even better.

Let's be honest: we're really talking about one guy here, and he's certifiably nuts.
