2nd Quarter Round-Up

Three months of insanity, bloodshed and broken bones has altered NFW’s future dramatically, but the Wrestling Revolution grows stronger. At the half-year mark, Dan Ryan has retired while Nova sits atop the mountain…yet he knows in the shadows that dozens of current superstars and past legends will threaten him for the World Championship.

March 31 – June 30, 2008. It may not seem like a long time, but when you think about Crash 44 and 45…Wrestlestock Two…the New York City Brawl run and the just-started NFW 2008 Summer Grand Prix, it starts boggling the mind on how far New Frontier Wrestling has come since the close of 2005-2007’s Season 2 Ultratitle run. One year later to the date, they found themselves entertaining 60,000 in Indio, California for their Wrestlestock PPV which cemented legacies and its status as the Greatest Show on Earth and Beyond. The historic event marked the final chapter of Dan Ryan’s career, while Nova’s NFW career entered the echelon of Michael Manson’s.

Many pundits questioned whether NFW could keep the momentum going or if they had reached a relative peak that they would not top for a long period of time. The Wrestling Revolution in its stead has attracted top talent from around the world and the inaugural NFW Grand Prix possesses 10 Cruiserweight contestants that could be our next World Championship contender.

The Grand Prix devised for Cruiserweights only will be a summer-long journey that will award the winner a title shot at EACH belt associated with New Frontier Wrestling. That’s a possible 5 title shots including the newly associated Elite Championship. NFW newcomers SARS and Impulse join NFW incumbents in Felix Red, Professor Tremendous and Lord Coyner Pollard. They will compete against a world-class superstar cast including The Illustrious Face Eater, Doctor Curiosity, Digital Mortality, High Flyer, Simply Beautiful. 10 athletes sure to give NFW more than their money’s worth.

Meanwhile, heated rivalries are starting to blaze a trail that New Frontier Wrestling sure has never seen. Sars and Joe the Plumber, the Hollywood Wrecking Crew and the Suicide Kings, Nova and anyone that touches his belt, Rook Black and the Uber Judge, The Devil’s Rejects…and everyone. Blood is being spilt maybe moreso than the Ultratitle Years and NFW v.1 Years combined.

With Crash 46, SUPERCrash 2, the Grand Prix Finals, a returning Kin Hiroshi and so much more on the horizon…the Wrestling Revolution doesn’t just seem stronger…it’s also possibly scarier than ever before.
