POST UNDERGROUND NEWSWIRE
*As a result of property damage, resisting arrest and being drunk and disorderly, Bubba J was arrested last night in Durham, NC at the Underground show. He has yet to make bail.
*Rumors are flying concerning the reason Vincent Black has asked to tag with Junior Soprano and Ca$h this week. The most repeated one was that Black is looking for a replacement for the recently ousted Bubba J in the Extreme Elite. No one can confirm those rumors however.
*Speaking of Ca$h, Rex Caliber has signed him versus MacCulloch in an "I Quit" match at the Barroom Brawl show. MacCulloch had earlier in the week asked for a Submission match at the REBEL Underground in February. Rex didn't like the idea of a submission match, but does like hearing someone yell into a microphone that they indeed... QUIT!
*Rex has been questioned about the three matches he has signed Bubba J for at Barroom Brawl. A quote from Rex says: "Bubba wants me to hit him, he wants me to get physical. After last night, he has proved that he will stoop to any level to get me riled up so I'll slap his grin off his face. Cause he knows if I do, I'll get fired. No owner wants his picked supervisor hitting his other employees. It was a trap, but rest assured, that I have the support of the owner for the matches I've booked. Plus the tickets are selling quick."
*Chet Whettleson is hosting a special poll on the fan forums, trying to figure out who Mikey Massacre was talking about seeking help from, when he spoke last night at the Underground. The unstable Massacre has been nothing but a mystery for the last several weeks.
*The Great Alaskan Ninjas! are aiming to tie the first REBEL Tag Champs record for most successful title defenses. The Foundation made four successful defenses back in the Summer of 2007. On a side note, the only title to be defended successfully more than four times was the World title. Rex Caliber and Kyle Roberts, fellow REBEL Icons, defended it six times each. The Carolinas title has been defended successfully four times, on two occasions. The Great Alaskan Ninjas! face the Young Leons at "Winter Blast II".
