Caldera Brewing Big Surprise

Conspicuous by his absence at Devil's Night, President Steven Caldera is raising anxiety backstage. Caldera loves the cameras and the energy of the road, so seeing him spend his weeks sequestered in his high-rise office in New York is raising some eyebrows in the company.

Some say Caldera's big surprise won't really affect GCW. The offices in New York are set to open in the coming weeks, marking a major expansion for Caldera Enterprises. The company is also expanding to Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago and London, meaning GCW's parent company is also going global. The simultaneous launch of the new, bigger Caldera Enterprises is no doubt a major reason Caldera is away from the company for the moment.

There have been rumors, however, about a number of new projects Caldera may be working on under the table. Talk of adding another television broadcast to the weekly schedule has been going on for some time, and the possibility of another major addition to the roster is always looming.

There is no telling when or if Caldera will return. Some wonder if Caldera, seeing the Establishment losing influence, plans on simply withdrawing from the public eye completely to focus on other projects. Those who know him best, however, roll their eyes at this suggestion.

Caldera's original boss, Mr. Danger, was asked about it this week. "Caldera won't ever step away from this place. He needs it too much."

Caldera is being characteristically tight-lipped about it, and hasn't made any public appearances since his last stint on WorldWide. It's been reported from within that Caldera has been training very hard lately, giving rise to speculation that he might be preparing a return to the ring, but those same sources temper that notion by saying a strict training regimen isn't exactly out of the ordinary.

So for the time being it seems Christian Zenith has been entrusted with the authority to run the show. Jay Terror, with Caldera still backing him from afar, no doubt retains some power. But with Caldera gone there is certainly a void at the top, meaning the door might be open for the wrestlers of GCW to take advantage.
