This bout marking only the second time that a former WWA Heavyweight Champion will square off against a former CAL heavyweight champion headlines Pride 1: genesis, live from the Asylum in Cleveland, OH on Sunday September 14, 2008.

“I am happy to announce that burning river wrestling has inked a blockbuster Main Event to headline our debut card.” Said Stern Shamrock, BRW Director of Talent Relations. “Khalid Jad and Jeff Andrews are arguable two of the greatest former World Champions this sport has seen in recent years and they are squaring off for the first time inside the Hexagon.”

Pride I:Genesis will be live on internet-only pay-per view at 9:00 P.M. EST for a suggested retail price of 14.95.
