First Quarter Round-Up

They've done it without the use of a fully functional central website. They've done it without spending millions out of their budget on advertisement and promotions.

Simply put, New Frontier Wrestling is once again redefined as the underground and global standard in the same breadth. A worldwide revolution with the heart of a young independent spirit.

Was it the FCC that cleaned up NFW?

No. NFW made deals with DirecTV and Sirius, while stepping into the Howard Stern shoes of sports entertainment. You won't see Crash LIVE at 5PM, but who has enough beer in them anyway?

Nova versus Yori closed the books on the decade in terms of INSANE matches. Out of the trippy haze of the Ultratitle Seasons, NFW took it upon themselves to walk out with a swagger in 2008.

The second leg of Wrestlestock 2 will be remembered as Dan Ryan's ascent to the hallowed halls of New Frontier Wrestling. At SUPERCrash I: Coronation, NFW crowned new champions and themselves the leaders of a revolution to wrestling fans.

Through two channels of communication, their own TV and Radio networks they released a schedule and two memorable house shows now lead us to the explosive Crash .44 Magnum Wrestling Revolution Summit.

The onus has been put on the locker room to live up to who they represent from around the world. Dan Ryan, Teresa Q, Joe the Plumber, The Hollywood Wrecking Crew. The champions crowned at SUPERCrash I show the diversity of the wrestling industry as well as its current state of excellence.

Wrestlestock 2 promises a hyped main event of Dan Ryan versus Nova. The greatest World Champion of more than even the New Frontier versus the man that ruled PRIME and the Sophomore Two Season of the Ultratitle in NFW. It will not be the first time they stand across the ring from each other, but it will be the most SIGNIFICANT.

But with wrestlers like Rook Black, Professor Tremendous, Brock Alyas, Cameron Cruise making headway against newcomers like The Dream Team, Impulse or Lord Coyner Pollard...even those coronated will have to be wary.

Especially, when certain letters are still burning randomly in the locker room...

Inside the NFW Locker Room

We caught up with various NFW wrestlers on the road and after shows during the Northwest jaunt of the Wrestlestock 2 Tour...

The Dream Team isn't satisfied with just beating down on the PowerGodz (ED Note: 3/17 NFW Brawl), however. After the match, we got a hold of Mike Gordey, still covered in glass, and he was P-I-S-S-E-D.

"I think we made it clear that the only contenders for the EMT are the Dream Team, even is it is total bull**** that we're not already champs. You can bet your ass that at
Crash 44 the Dream Team's gonna make somebody else pay. Blaine Hollywood, Malik Anderson, I think it's officially time for you boys to be worried as hell!"

When asked about the "briefcase blowup" at the NFW St. Patrick's Day Great American Potato War, Impulse grinned and stated "That's just the way the game is played, right?"

Craig Miles has remained tight-lipped about how the masked wrestler came into getting a job, but Miles seemed to like the fact he made it to Missoula, Montana of all places.

"I'm not going to spend 700 grand on some flaky headcase that needs to sell a match with 15 minute short films about dealing with the mafia or vampire beasts opening portals of time. This kid likes to wrestle, he doesn't care who he faces...and sh*t, he showed up in f*cking Montana. That shows FAITH in the Revolution."

Impulse is 0-2 in NFW so far, but has a chance when taking on one of the best wrestlers of this decade in Rook Black, who came within inches of defeating Teresa Quaranta in the National Championship Finals at SUPERCrash I.

There have been rumors of Legion wanting to get Teresa to apologize for accusations towards Sickness, which have included getting a title shot at Wrestlestock 2. Instead, it seems like the regime has allowed them both access to Crash .44 Magnum. With Sean Stevens getting put on the Inactive list, the National Championship situation is almost as strange as the relationships its spawned.

Brock Alyas hasn't been the most pleasant person even with recent success in NFW. NFW Brawl interns were trying to get something for a Sirius Spot and he grabbed one of them, looking wild-eyed...

"The NFW is just beginning to meet who the **** Alyas is. Two morons tried stepping in his way and we both witnessed what happened to those idiots - THEY BECAME MORPHINE ADDICTS! The world of NFW has only seen the beginning of an era of destruction in which I am going to lead. Fans are guaranteed to see some broken necks in the NEAR future..."

Brock then smashed their recording equipment and stomped away. Alyas has looked impressive in the ring, but some insiders feel that he may be more trouble outside of the ring than he's worth inside it. Craig Miles assured us that he'd be the least issue with the characters running around NFW in the first place.
