Lexx Love III Released by ICWF!
LOS ANGELES, CA --
Intense Championship Wrestling Federation (ICWF) has issued a statement today regarding surprising moves in the employment area of the league.
Lexx Love III, current ICWF Intercontinental Champion and considered the most recognizable face for ICWF in the past year, has been given his release as of the end of May.
Sources inside the organization have stated that Lexx supposedly tested positive for several banned substances, including HGH, anabolic steroids and also viagra. This compounds the problems rumbling through the business that Lexx was becoming more of a prima-donna backstage and going out of his way to hinder the development of newly signed ICWF talent.
Love will be losing the IC title at some point, but it is not a guarantee that Eraser will be the recipient. The same federation official stated that many other names have been thrown around as being the one to take Lexx out in his final match. The biggest two names being thrown around were Will Geddings and Dave Pietka, though both men are still contenders in the MOAT tournament at press time.
Love was not the only casualty on the chopping block.
Current ICWF CEO D. Samantha Montague was summarily fired the moment Lexx's walking papers were issued.
Montague stormed into the offices when Love was told of his notice and demanded to find out why someone with such talent was being treated this way. Montague was quickly told that she was found as the suspect behind the embezzlement issues and tax fraud by the investigating group, and that she was also video-surveiled dealing the banned substances to wrestlers, including Love and the formerly dismissed Hades.
The tapes were made accessible to police and Montague was arrested as her ICWF contract was torn apart. Montague was revealed to be the infamous Delilah that worked in ICWF many years ago. After some changes to her appearance and a new regime came to power, Delilah got a position within the company and began bilking it out of hundreds of thousands of dollars; while also dealing controlled substances on the side.
There are rumors that Lone Wolf is said to be part of this as well. No one is certain if the former champion returned as part of Delilah's plan, but nobody cares now. Officials said that Wolf can go out and do his business, or go back to being a vagrant somewhere in the gutter. The choice was his.
More to come as the story develops.
