BRAWL IS IN 6 DAYS, NEW CHAMPION CROWNED MORE
Six days until Bunkhouse BRAWL where 15 people are facing off in a no holds barred, bring what you can, use what you must, barbed wire rope, battle royal to determine the new SCCW heavyweight champion. Fifteen wrestlers who list includes two former SCCW Heavyweight champions, 4 former tag team champions, are all ready for not only their shot at the gold, but the actual gold itself. On a card that only has four matches; every one of them is a title match, super card of SCCW gold. More on the card itself later.
NEW CHAMPION CROWNED In her title match, right before BRAWL, Sydney LaRoux upset inaugural All Barrie Champion Riflewilly to lay claim to the title. By this win, she right now is on top of the world and is the –only- champion crowned in SCCW. It was a hard fought battle that saw Riflewillys partner Paul Cain come down to the ring, surprisingly to crown the new champion and leave a very unnerving message for his partner in the All Barrie Tag Team Title match. All in all, LaRoux sits upon a lofty perch as Queen of SCCW.
MONDAY NIGHT AGGRESSION #8 July 27th Results (*Crowd of 150 people in the “A” Channel Studios*)
Greg Venom v. Patrick McCarthy Winner: McCarthy scrapes by with a victory heading into BRAWL however Greg Venom impressed enough to earn a spot in the BRAWL itself
Modo Whoa! v. Doctor Ian Winner: Modo WHOA! took the victory on his way to facing Sydney LaRoux for the All Barrie title at BRAWL Sharlene Berger v. Kirsta Lewis Winner: Miss Lewis has had a rocket fired under her in order to get as many wins and as much a mental advantage going in to BRAWL for the heavyweight belt. She has the momentum so far. Emanuel Jackson v. Scarlett Winner: Scarlett Willis showed why she is a former SCCW tag champion by taking on the much bigger Jackson. They both go into BRAWL with a chip and a grudge. Alexander Steele v. Justin Brooks (Brawl qualifier match) Winner: The match was declared a draw and both men made it into the BRAWL. While both guys fought to the hardest level they could, there is no doubt they are the dark horses in the BRAWL. Ladder Match for spot in Brawl: Myke Adams v. Grim Winner: “The Suicidal Superman” took what was needed and is in the BRAWL, taking down GRIM in a decisive fashion. Main Event: Sydney Laroux v. Riflewilly (All Barrie Championship) Winner: Sydney LaRoux defeated Riflewilly and took the title in what could be match of the night.
SCCW NEWS There is some serious dissention in the ranks of Paul Cain & Riflewilly’s tag team. Paul expressed his severe lack of impression when his partner dropped the All Barrie title belt this week. Their tag team could explode without it even getting really started.
Patrick McCarthy has ended his two week losing streak by defeating Greg Venom who now is on a two week losing streak. However Venom, who in his team with Doc. Ian, has heat with both the participants in the BARBARIC championship match at BRAWL. Could there be a three way for the belt coming soon?
Two newcomers in SCCW are looking to make their mark. One is a former Roughkut Wrestling Tornado champion in Blade, and another has some ties to Myke Adams, and a long lasting “issue” of sorts with Patrick McCarthy, in Samuel Hessingstock. Both are participants in the BRAWL match itself and both are looking in making their mark in a major way, right from the get go.
Former SCCW Heavyweight, and tag team champion SPIKE is returning for one match only at BRAWL. Spike will be participating in the bunkhouse brawl itself. Could the man who has disappeared for over 3 years be able to take out 14 others? Is he hungry enough to do so? It has been done before.
In shocking developments, both Jackie Daniels and SCCW legend Guy Kadon were turned on by their mentor/protégé respectively and taken out of the SCCW. Both wrestlers were hurt and the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. All that –is- known at this time, is neither will be participating in future SCCW events any time soon.
UPCOMING BRAWL CARD August 3rd 2009 Live at the Molson Arena
All Barrie Championship Sydney LaRoux (champion) Vs Modo WHOA! (challenger) The battle between these two have waged on for months. It started out with Riflewilly and the All Barrie Title and turned into a personal fight over who would be the one to take this belt into the next chapter. Modo WHOA! is a man people refuse to take seriously, LaRoux is a woman people see as Jay Jerzey's squeeze. Both have something to prove. All Barrie Tag Team Championship War Machine Vs Cain & Willy The finals of the SCCW All Barrie Tag Team Tourney has come down to it all. Riflewilly, having been a disappointment to his partner last week in losing the All Barrie title, has been warned this week to not repeat. War Machine has stated -nothing- will stop them from tag team gold. Can Cain & Willy stay together throughout the match, or is it downhill from the first bell? Barbaric Championship (Winner is 1st Barbaric champ) Patrick McCarthy Vs Jay Jerzey In 2006, the two started out as partners, best of friends until Jay Jerzey had to leave the SCCW. McCarthy went on to become one of SCCW's biggest fan favorites and superstars nearly holding every piece of gold we have. Fast forward to 2009. Jerzey returns to find there is no space in Patrick McCarthy's life for them and he was replaced with Scarlett Willis. The ego could not deal with it and it started to fester. Now two months later it comes to a head, not for the final time, but for the first time in a match for the most brutal title in SCCW history. One may not even make it out alive. Main Event BUNKHOUSE BRAWL (winner is SCCW heavyweight champ) Participants ADAM - X, Alexander Steele, Blade, Dr. Ian, Emanuel Jackson, Greg Venom, Jen Blackheart, Justin Brooks, Kirsta Lewis, Myke Adams, Rex Masters, Samuel Hessingstock, Scarlett Willis, Sharlene Berger, Spike 15 people... one belt. Usually this match sets up the #1 contender... this time it is for all the marbles. With the most coveted title on the line, no less than 2 heavyweight champions, 4 tag team champions, newcomers, vets and never heard of's all in this match, it is anyone's win. Anyone is a potential champion and all of them have something to prove. With Barbed wire ropes, the last thing you want is to thrown INTO and not over.... **Tickets still available at Ticketmaster and Molson Arena box office**
