Match of the Night

First/Black, Straw's insane.

Wrestler of the Night

3. Donovan Astros

Big win moves himself into a chance at a title

2. Stalker

More meddling and chaos

1. Anarky

Win that didn't involve the DEA getting himself into the finals.

MOMENT OF THE NIGHT

Wells coming back, was nice seeing him return

Overall thoughts

A good show over all...I liked how all the matches were written. Feels like everyone's crawling out of the woodwork to put a challenge in for the World Title, hopefully I can keep up with them.

QUICK NOTE...

An epilogue was added to the end of the show after the main event. Make sure you go and check that out if you've already read the card once.

Another very solid show that continues to build up to the PPV. The storylines really seem to be gelling very well, and I think that the post-Stevens Era has started to take some shape. I liked the development of Ryan/Stevens dealing with the post-Championship, and the build-up of new talent and storylines has been excellent.

WRESTLER OF THE NIGHT: Copycat, with an honorable mention for Donovan Astros. Copycat continues to do very well and the storyline is pushing forward nicely and has been a pleasure to read. Astros got a tough win over Karl Brown (and well-deserved), and appears to be ready to take the leap.

FACE OF THE NIGHT: Jared Wells. Good to have him back, and even better to have him talkin' smack to former Anthology members.

HEEL OF THE NIGHT: Once again, Stalker continues to wreak havoc on the tournament. Can we get some security up in this joint for the Finals or what?

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: First/Black. The finish was ludicrous and yet, in its own way, made complete sense, and continued Black's utterly insane ascent as a man who continues to win in spite of himself. Straw continues to write well-paced novellas for those of us without full-time jobs.

MOMENT OF THE NIGHT: I enjoyed Stevens' reluctant dropping of the chair as well as Wells' return. And of course the DEA dragging Black out for a win was just the height of absurd storytelling, yet fit very well into the scheme of things.

Another enjoyable card and I look forward to the next one!

WRESTLER OF THE NIGHT: Anarky he has emerged from the other bracket looking like a beast right now. I am not sure he will be stopped.

FACE OF THE NIGHT: The First. The speech he made was great and the fact that everyone is gunning for him makes him even that more likable. The fact that he (in my eyes) is a very vulnerable champ makes him that much more appealing to watch.

HEEL OF THE NIGHT: Copycat got a much deserving win in his match and I look forward to what he has in store.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: First/Black hands down. I wish I had the creativity and mindset to write the matches that Straw produces on a monthly basis.

MOMENT OF THE NIGHT: Stevens being confronted by Ryan and putting down the chair in frustration.

We have a huge build up for the PPV coming up. Lots on the plate for the First to deal with. Will Anarky be able to stop the machine that is Erik Black and his ways of winning? Lol.. it will be interesting to see.
