Re: AGGRESSION 54: TV Title Match - "The Phenom" Shawn Hart (c) vs. Michael Bastard

The scene is a warehouse. The camera is on a tripod, stationary, as Empire Pro cameramen have filed a formal complaint against The Amazing Logan and Michael Bastard for the cruel and unusual treatment of themselves and their equipment. Anyway. Bastard is in the background, Logan in the foreground.

TAL: A culmination.

After such little time plying his craft in the best wrestling promotion on Earth, Michael Bastard has reached the first of many culminations in his young and soon-to-be storied career. He stands on the precipice of winning his first Championship, a title held by the greats of this business, men like Jonathan Marx and Jericoholic Anonymous. And by virtue of his all-but-certain victory, Michael will stand at the end of Aggression 54, without having defended his title once as the most brutal, most sadistic, most punishing Intercontinental Champion of all-time.

I know, I know, I sound like I'm getting ahead of myself, but can you blame me? Did you see the vacant stare in Shawn Hart's eyes as he stared down blow by blow that Michael rained down on him with the fury of a thousand demons? Did you see his body go limp after he was finished off with the Bastard Driver? Did you even feel like he was in the match? Sure, he was there in body, but his mind was somewhere else. Michael sensed it and he went for the kill. Karl Brown was game, and he holds the lesser prize to boot. Let Donovan Astros, who should feel lucky Michael only threw him out of the ring, chase Brown. The easy prize is there for the taking. Shawn Hart has checked out, man.

Of course, don't let how easily Michael is going to take this belt fool you. Hart may be a shell of himself, but I will welcome any challenger for this title to try and wrest it from Michael's clutches. They'll fail. Miserably.

And Hart, if you're out there and you have anything more than a token resistance to offer, please offer it now. Michael would love to take your belt from you while your sights are lazily focused on the floor, but he would relish it even further if you just came out and brought it like I know you can. Either way, you're a dead man, but at least you'll be a dead man walking with a little dignity.

Your time is running out, Hart. Count the days of your title reign down, your wrestling career, your life as a healthy human being. Michael Bastard, the New Craziest Bastard in Wrestling, the Wrestler Your Favorite Wrestler Is Afraid of, is coming to take your belt, your career and your ability to walk.

MB: AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!

Bastard kicks the camera over as the scene goes to static.
