[FADE IN: on the MARSUPIALS of MAYHEM backstage at Slamtrack 7. POSSUM can be heard giggling behind the handheld camcorder. KANGARRY ROO is smashing a steel chair down onto a bench seat. eKID NAH is kicking a locker. KID KOALA stands in the center of the room, a packing knife in his hand.]

KID KOALA:
"Whoever the piece of crap running this shithole is you best listen and you BEST - LISTEN - GOOD!

"You can send all the hired help you want but I WILL hold this company ransom until you give ME what I want. GIVE IT TO ME!"

[KK pushes the blade into his chest, nicking it. The packing knife's blade is so sharp and clean the slightest knick sends blood running down his chest.]

KID KOALA:
"You put Second Coming inside that ring with me and you book it and you book it now or I will hold this company ransom with EVERY - SINGLE - MATCH you try and book. You're gonna have to get me under lock and key if you don't think I will stop this company moving forward.

"BOOK IT!

"BOOK IT!"

[KK swiped his hand through the blood and flung his hand at the camera, spraying the lens with his blood.]

KID KOALA:
"Or the Marsupials of Mayhem will paint... the town... RED!"

Red Line Wrestling, in conjunction with DePaul University, makes this official statement regarding the status of the main event for the SLAMTRACK 8 wrestling program:

The ownership, staff, and facilities operators of Red Line Wrestling do not condone or tolerate the actions of Kid Koala and the Marsupials of Mayhem. Their actions, most recently at SLAMTRACKs 6 and 7, have shown a degree of hostility not aimed at a specific competitor (which is merely a fact of life in the world of professional wrestling), but against Red Line Wrestling as an entity. Specifically, threats to hold the show "hostage" or "ransom" have been brought forward.

Ordinarily, the official stance of Red Line Wrestling would be to deny Kid Koala's demands and move forward as a company with or without him. However, we have received requests from RLW talent The Second Coming to have this match as well. Additionally, this matchup seems to have garnered a high degree of interest from within our fan base.

As a result, the main event of SLAMTRACK 8 will be The Second Coming versus Kid Koala. Additionally, the three wrestlers known as eKid Nah, Kangarry Roo, and Possum will be banished from the arena for the event; breach of this will result in their immediate termination from the company.

At Red Line Wrestling, we remain committed to providing the best entertainment experience in Chicago, and we look forward to continuing to do so.
