Based off of how the rps have been coming in this session in round 2, how do we think that everybody did in the tournament? (If we were booking the outcome of each person, who would we book the results of the tournament)

This would also allow us to see and read other rps from other threads besides our own and make a call as to who has been putting forth the hardest and best quality rps during this round 2.

With that said, let the fun begin:

Cameron Cruise
"Dog of War" Jason Payne

Since I haven't been able to put in one single RP, (and I think it's too late now) I don't think I stand much of a snowballs chance in hell.

Damned seven year old Compaq on dial up.

I'm going to refrain from giving full predictions because I'd have to pick my own ring and I can't do that without being biased, but WOW! Some really good stuff going on, especially in the Presidential ring. I'd have to say it's a damn shame that Jason only got off one promo so far, because if that was any indication, he'd have won in that ring, but it would have been close. As it is right now, it's definitely close. Stanley, Cruise, Doe, REdman, ProfT.... wow, you guys are burning down the house. I thoroughly enjoyed Nova's offering in the US ring too. Seriously, good job everyone.

AS for a final prediction, I'm going to go with a final two of Troy Windham and Dan Ryan with Windham eking out the win. Honestly, I could see a lot of people here. Flair, Hiroshi, Stanley... I really don't envy Chad right now judging this thing :)

My Predictions:

Title Shot Ring
1) Eli Flair (Pete has turned Eli Flair into the Arn Anderson of E-Wrestling, and it works for the character. Its a disappointment this is supposedly his swan song, because I think this is some of the best work I've read from him)
2) Dan Ryan's alter ego (at first I wrote him off, but Gregg kept pushing me to re-read his stuff and he executes his points very well. One of the best shut down players in this)
(consolation prize to Peter Lenex, he worked his ass off. If he would have been in any ring he would have been an instant finalist, but being put between those two, just proving himself is good enough.)

Greensboro Championship (won't include myself)
1) Kevin Watson (I enjoyed the style of his character, and he really put himself out to be a contender)
2) JA (Played his role as Champ well. He's got the feelings of a midcard Champion, the kind of guy who could move up at any time, but right now, he'd prefer to be the big fish in the small pond)
(consolation prize to JJ Devile. If Gregg had more time to work with him and not having to bare the workload of Windham, he probably would have made my top two)

Presidential Championship
1) Tobias Stevens (Roleplayed his ass off, but almost came close to overexposure. I know at one point I just started skimming his RP's because they were all just too long of replies. However, there was some excellent work there, and when it comes to the newer guys, I think he has put his name at the top of the list. Really pushed hard.)
2) Lawrence Stanley (While I don't think he made the same name for himself as Tobias, Tobias' handler should pay attention to Stanley's roleplays, as I didn't skip any of them due to their length, but he made quite a few responses himself. Enjoyed the work)
(consolation prizes to John Doe and Cameron Cruise. A final four just between those guys is a great enough finish alone.)

US Championship
1) Ken Hiroshi (One of the few Champions aside from Windham who really made it clear as to why he is a Champion here in CSWA. Wheras JA presented himself as a big fish in a small pond, Hiroshi seemed like a fish that outgrew his pond. Hiroshi deserves to go "one on one" with the greats in CSWA, to solidify his own name)
2) Bobby Karma (If there was anyone in the US ring that deserves to take the belt off of Hiroshi and become the new main man of the US Division, its Bobby Karma. Really impressed me with his work and I hope to see more.)
(consolation prize to Simon Theodore. He made a good name for himself in this)

Hopefully a lot of the hard working players here, from the new guys I named to people I may have missed, stick around in CSWA. The stuff going on is just so top notch. I'm hoping post Gold Rush, a lot of the other CSWA regulars begin proving their worth, because a lot of people like Hornet and Lindsay Troy could have been monumental players and just fell off the earth. Disappointing. However, this hasn't been. Can't wait to see the results.

My turn...

Center Ring:
Troy Windham (Champion)

Title Shot Ring

1) Peter Lenex-I think that this guy did quite the work load enough and pulled out some good quality rps that should allow him to have a good showing and thus move him right onto the center ring.

2) TIED: Eli Flair and Dan Ryan. This is so hard for me because both of these guys were so in their elements and you got to see them shine equally. I am so torn here, but I think that this one will be close. I totally agree with ERON in that Dan Ryan truly is the all-time best shutdown rper on the net, and Eli truly is turning into an efed legend. Anyone who rps against any one of these two will be in for some of the greatest fun that they've ever had.

Honorable Mention: Tied: Hornet and Johnathan Winters. Winters I know from the WWA (World Wrestling Alliance and he is awesome, it is so good to see him in the CSWA/FWC man welcome and of course Hornet is quite the veteran in his own right who had a nice little showing here.

Greensburo Championship Title Ring
Champion: JA

3) Kevin Watson-Really was on fire this session and if there is one man that could take JA's title it is him.

4) JA-Proved why he is champion and even though I see Watson moving onto the center ring with the Greensburo title, I see JA hot on his tail and even when it is all said and done I could really see these two continue on a nice little fued as JA exercises his rematch and tries to capture back his title from Watson.

Honorable Mention: Nemesis/Eron The Relentless. I see both of these guys getting out what they put in and having at least a good showing in the match. They may or may not move on, but they will have my pick of "sleepers of the tournament".

Presidential Championship Title Ring
Champion: Jay Phoenix

Oh my god, this was without a doubt the hardest thread to rp in. I mean so many people really jumped out of the gate fast and really didn't let up. Phoenix definately has his work cut out for him in this one and then some. So many characters could easily win this ring and move onto the center ring. I had to carefully evaluate and re-evaluate each one to even pick a winner and I am still unclear on this one. I call this prediction with lots and lots of trepidation, but here it goes but this is very very hard for me to decide this.

5) John Doe-really set the tone as he was the first one on the board and really kept going. Was a true work horse and deserves to take the title and move onto the center ring. He kept up with everybody in this thread and then some.

6) Cameron Cruise-Also really put up a good fight and I think that he will squeak on by into the center ring by the skin of his teeth.

Honorable mentions:
a) Tobias Stevens-at last a fellow kindred spirit, and I thought that I was the only long winded, book writing rper on FWC. Hehehehehehe! Really had a great showing and I think that he could be a surprise and shock a lot of people, so I am definately not counting him out.

b) The Don-Was another one that stayed neck and neck with Tobias and really impressed me. Had some really charismatic rp.

US Championship Title Ring
Champion: Kin Hiroshi

I can't really prediction who will win this ring and move onto the center ring since this was my ring, but I will just use this as my way of commenting on each one of my oponants.

7) Kin Hiroshi-Mike, you truly are the man, and I can see why not only you are the CSWA US Champion, but also why you have flourished beyond our time in GXW. I have had so much fun rping against you and I can't wait for the time when we will do it again. Like ERON said, "You have truly outgrown your pond and you need to compete with the likes of Troy Windham and so forth. You are in a class all by yourself and I can only be so blessed just for a touch of your garmet. I bow down to you in respect and humility dude, you SO kick ass forever. VIVA HIROSH 4-EVER. I hope that we will continue our little feud that we have started so far and not let up. Win or lose, it was truly an honor to be going up against you again.

8) Simon Theodore-You started late, but when you got going, you caught up and really made a name for yourself man. You are both charismatic and funny. Your character is simplistic and that is why I think that he could very far in CSWA just keep up the awesome work and I look forward to the day when you and I lock up individually in the ring after the goldrush tournament is over with.

Honorable mentions (people that caught my eye)

a) Troy Douglas-another GXW allumni that I am happy to see again and great to work with man. This was a great brief appearance, but as usual you made your pressence known, and I hope that we can throw down again in the CSWA roster after the tourney is concluded.

b) Nova-A nice little appearance, but it was nothing more than a run in and I wish that he could of done more as he could of had more of an exchange with everybody.

c) Zell Hunter-Ah yeah, the GXW Allumn Trifecta completes with my old running buddy. Very late, but like I have told you time and time again, "better late than never at all"

Overall winner?

I gotta say that I actually see Troy Windham maybe being the only one that truly retains his title and moves on because this round he showed just why he is at the top of the mountain and wearing the Unifed Title. He dominated everything and everyone, and I can't really see anyone that totally takes it from him this round.

However, I still think that Someone like Kin Hiroshi will at least move on and chase down Windham after the tourament is concluded. I think that he is just the man to give Windhamn a nice little chase.

Awesome job to everyone who rped and participated. I had so much fun and can't wait to continue to rp with each and every one of you in the CSWA.

Yeah I'm sad bout that too. Between job hunting and the old computer, I couldn't get on a lot. But I hopefully made up for it in TEAM.

I'm like JA, I can't pick anything either, but **** is close, that's for sure. Whoever comes out on top is gonna deserve it thats for sure.

Any word on when this possibly would be up? No rush or anything, just anxious to see the results. :D

I'm sort of in the same boat, Don, eager to read the icked results.

Anyways, I just wanted to drop my two cents in here. Well, really, it's just my thanks to namely Dan Ryan and Eli Flair for making me work so damn hard during that time frame in the Title Shot ring. It's been a long while since I actually had that sort of competition to fight against, and it was very welcome.

I've also been reading some of the other rings on and off when I can find time, the stuff I didn't read before, and it's all very well done. I haven't read enough to give picks or anything, so I'll avoid that for now. Still great work boys.

Good luck to all.

Closer and closer. Things just haven't come together between the writers -- at least two (or all) of us have been off haring after work/life-related stuff over the last several weeks. I expect a big push this weekend to get it much closer to being finished -- then of course, though, we've got Thanksgiving coming up.

I'll try and do a better job of putting regular (i.e. every few days) updates here. If anybody has suggestions on some fun ways to gear everybody up for the impending results, I'm open to them.

Well what about the ROAD TO ANNIVERSARY thread on the rp boards?

I thought that was supposed to be a fun way for everybody to do something role playing wise to further develope their characters. However only one person has rped in the thread and it was me.

I thought that this was supposed to be a good way to further keep things going with characters wise and yet I was the only one that rped.

So what gives? This was something that Greg had started during whenever the card was supposed to be written and posted.

It was like two weeks ago when he posted that threat and there have been only two rp based replies. (By me)

I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but I am trying to point out that if we are going to be active while the CSWA goes through this long lag and rather than continually ask what is going on with Anniversary, why don't we do something about it and post either there or elsewhere.

Just some random crazy thoughts and suggestions. Anything else at all you know how to reach me.
