Favorite Part -- CVC giving himself the ol' David Carradine.

Lamest Part -- This phantom editing/proofreading error on my first seg that looks like I was typing something else and somehow it ended up in there, sorry guys 8(

Overall -- Really liked the progression of this show, getting a lot of issues advancing in a forward trajectory for ASCENSION (Ryan v Box, Ty v Light?, getting Python v Heidi next show and in the future?).

Matchwriting was very good as well, good job to everyone involved.

Match of the Night: The main event calamity was off the charts. Which is nothing new... but on this card in particular, holy shit. First Ladder War qualifier was awesome, and I'm proud to have been involved with the creation of the second. Heidi vs Penn was also a great read, and I wouldn't have predicted the ending of Walker vs CVC if you gave me a hundred guesses. Shit. Everything was so good, really.

Segment of the Night:
Haha CVC, dude's segments are so consistently uncomfortable and fantastic. Also really dug the initial Christian Light apology segment in the grand scheme of things. It was one of those things where you read it and you're like "ok, this is obviously being shown to us for a reason... where is this going?" And then THAT happens later on and it adds even more weight to that apology seg and the whole thing was just really well thought out and executed. So interested to see what happens next.

Surprise of the Night:
Christian Light interfering in the SoHo match, the ref peacing out at the end of the night.

Holy Shit Moment of the Night:
The ending

Babyface of the Night:
The Large Fan

Heel of the Night:
Gotta go Blood Diamonds, particularly White for moving on to the Ladder War

MVP of the Night (IC):
Tough call here, the entire night was just full of fantastic war and chaos

Best Line of the Night:

Angus:
There, we just played the WHOLE DAMN SONG. Happy yet Kevin?

What Ruled?
Defiance descending into uncontrollable warfare, the massive amount of awesome collaboration that clearly went into these results, a couple of real solid debuts, great match writing across the board, sooo many segments and feuds and progressing storylines and not a weak one in the entire bunch

What Sucked?
The wait. That said, the read was so worth it, as we knew it would be.

Whatever Else You Can Think Of:
Between the RP period and the segs and results themselves, this show produced a HUGE workload and all of it was top notch. All of it. The rookies were great, the veterans were great, and the matches featuring them both were great. Ya'll should be proud. Also, I presently find the character and presence of Eric Dane to be more interesting than any other boss character I've seen in e-fedding thusfar. I just think it's such a great juxtaposition to have a guy who's so naturally powerful and intimidating and put-together stuck in a situation where he's surrounded by chaos that he can't seem to figure out how to control. It gets better and better every week.

Match of the Night: The Main Event

Segment of the Night:
Restitution

Babyface of the Night: This is going to Python for his first segment and his win at the end.

Heel of the Night: Heidi

MVP of the Night (IC):
This has to go to Heidi, she doesn't even have the World Title, yet the feud between Heidi and Sawyer is what I read every card.

Best Line of the Night: For me it was this

Angus:
Ka-pfft. Jon’s biggest problem is that he DOESN’T PAY ATTENTION.

DDK:
Curtis Penn, Angus.

Angus:
Whatevs.

What Ruled?
Everything with Black Jesus in it.

What Sucked:
Me not doing a segment or any collaborations on this card.

HOLY FUCK
I don't do feedbacks very often but holy fuck.

Best Exchange:
Angus:

Thanks for having them bring me new pants, Keebs. I uhhh...

DDK:

Don’t mention it, partner. Honestly.

Angus:
Dude literally scares the fuckin’ piss out of me Darren.

Random Thought:
Defiance referees need to be retrained or replaced with ex-KGB members. Vladmir Putin would have had a winner for the Main Event.

Brawls:
They were good. Grand in fact. Bronson Box is a mad man.

Heel of the Night:
I'm going with Box... maybe CVC.

Face of the Night:
Python - Hands Down

WTF Moment
Fat Fan Brawlin'

Best Meta Jokes
Angus:
There, we just played the WHOLE DAMN SONG. Happy yet Kevin?(William was pleased too)

Match Thought
All the matches, at least upper-card, were pretty non-stop violence and pure awesome brutality. Prettttttty awesome. Good jorb writers.

Match of the Night: Dat main event. Althought it wasn't as much a match as it was an all out brawl. I enjoyed Ryan/White.

Segment of the Night: Anything that had Christian Light in it. Also Seth Stratton.

Surprise of the Night: Having two fans get over amorous, maybe? I sure hope that big fan at the end is something important.

Holy Shit Moment of the Night: Dat Main Event.

Babyface of the Night: Python

Heel of the Night: Heidi.

MVP of the Night (IC): Python looked a mirrion dorrar all night. From interupting Heidi, to beating Box, to making the save at the end.

Best Line of the Night: There, we just played the WHOLE DAMN SONG. Happy yet Kevin?

What Ruled? Everyone in the main event scramble looked good at some point, but nobody really got the best of it until Kai came in at the end.

What Sucked? Also the wait, but it's summer, so fuck it, that's to be expected.

Whatever Else You Can Think Of: Can't wait for 39.

Match of the Night:
I was, and continue to be very much into Jamie Murray. I love the gimmick, and think that with a proper feud and some big wins, Jamie could be a very important figure in one of the divisions. SoHer, very possibly FIST, or dare I ask, Trios? Jamie could lead a cool Trio. So that match was real good. The Whisky/Parker match was good, too. I really, really enjoyed the Parker roleplays building to it, too.

Everyone should talk about how rule-face my Trios match was, too. <>

I will say that I didn't do enough to make the Turner/Alston match as good as it could have been. Sorry, guys, but face/face is hard with such a contrast of styles.

Jeff did very well with picking up my slack for the idea of having Tom do commentary during Heidi's match. That was a good match overall, too.

White vs Ryan was rad fun, and it was pretty impressive to see Dan Ryan actually eat a pin. A dirty pin, but still, that should give White a hell of a feather in his cap goin' into Ladder War.

As someone not involved in writing it, I was real, really happy to see the tag match of Tom n' Eugene vs Seth and Dargon be as good as it was. I was bummed about the other result of this match(Duncan being fired), but seriously, that five-day RP period was weaksauce. Duncan took a break that accidentally coincided with that RP period and was like "ALRIGHT LET'S FIGHT KEVMO" and I was like "...RP period ended last night."

Still. Fun match, Seth got some good heelin' in, Eugene got a much needed win.

Walker vs Crank was a fun match, and I'm glad to see Chance is still squeaking out wins or getting dirty wins. Dude should never, ever get a clean win because it's more funner that way. And the ending of the match sets up something at the PPV that I'm exceedingly excited to see happen. Light vs Walker should be ruletastic.

The Python/Box match was fun, but I'm done pussyfooting around this. Greg, Python's finisher makes no sense and is garbage. I can't even comprehend how the fuck it works. What exactly are you trying to say it is? Do you have a youtube link of it being done somewhere, or SOMETHING?

Jiles/Dentari gave us a taste of what I wanna see for Ladder War. I'm glad to see this thing turning so serious and rivalry-ish between the guys now in the match. Jiles, White, Dentari, Python and Scott, all in it to win it? Money in the Bank is for bitches, yo.

Segment of the Night: Mmm, the clusterfuck at the end? Heidi's opening promo? The various Walker-related things? Dunno.

Surprise of the Night: Kai Scott getting to be the dude standing tall at the end of the show. Hella sweet.

Holy Shit Moment of the Night: That Heidi didn't murder Curtis Penn's face, and that Ty Walker didn't murder Chance von Crank's face.

Babyface of the Night: Probably Python. He was the dude making the biggest blows against the various heels over the course of the show.

Heel of the Night: Tossup. Heidi? Box? White? Crank? Fuck'd if I know.

MVP of the Night (IC): For somebody in one match, Ty Walker was everywhere and was a really big deal.

Best Line of the Night: Gonna go with a dark horse candidate here.
Seth:
Thank you. Thank the good lord for our nation’s police. And for the record, I always thought the Rodney King beating was totally justified
.

What Ruled:
I was a big fan of Heidi's hypocritical promo. It was so heelish, so well done, you just wanted to hate her every second of it. Python v Heidi next show should be really, really good.

What Sucked?
Not enough Rainbow in the Dark.

Whatever Else You Can Think Of: I am excited for A, what will happen with Large Fan. B, what will happen next with Omar Wise. C, trying to fuck with Heidi some next show. D, seeing where the Ladder War participants go now that the match is set. And E, what CvC gets to do next to be an enormous bag of douche.

I'm not sure if I should feel bad about wanting to see the Snakebite be attempted about 67 times at Ascension, and get reversed a different way every time into something extraordinarily painful. Like a ladder.

Or a ladder.

At LEAST one a' dese.

Match of the Night: I wrote like two and a half matches so I'll just say Kev's trios match. :)

Segment of the Night: CVC. Better and better each week. Also the Heidi promo.

Babyface of the Night: Python, easily.

Heel of the Night: Heidi. Sick promo.

MVP of the Night (IC): Again, Python was all over the place.

What Ruled?: LOTS of PPV card build.

What Sucked? Lateness I guess.

Whatever Else You Can Think Of: Ready for more, lets do this. Pencil me in for a match (preferably one v. one) to write.

Working on this card, I was privy to the SH title match before it went up. Read through it completely, thought, "Wow, that match is really gonna stand out. Very good match." Then the rest of the card came out, and match quality was up across the board. Very fine work to all who wrote; I was generally impressed with all of the match quality.

Heidi was all over the top half of the card, The Blood Diamonds on the bottom half, and Python kind of made his presence felt across the card. Heidi/Python in Baltimore is going to be EPIC.

And I'm salivating over this PPV already. Ryan/Box in a Dog Collar Match, Ladder Wars, potential Alston/CVC, and Light/Walker already. That in of itself would sell out 3 arenas a la WM 2.

Match of the Night: I dunno (see 'what sucked')

Segment of the Night:
Definitely Heidi at the top of the card and Python coming out to interrupt her. Heidi does such brilliant heel work - she has a bit of a point and she twists it out of all perportion and that's what the best heel do.

Holy Shit Moment of the Night:
The way the main event just turned into a giant clusterfuck with everyone coming out and getting involved and the refs leaving.

Babyface of the Night:
Python, per what everyone else already said

Heel of the Night:
This wasn't a very heel-y card. Box, CVC and Dentari all had good nights, but you can't have three heels of the night.

MVP of the Night (IC):
Gotta be Python. Love seeing Greg getting involved like this.

Best Line of the Night:
There were a few good ones.THE AGGRO CRAG IS STUPID!!

Angus:
Well, fuck man, everyone’s got those issues. Girls are mean! They get away with it because they have boobs. You know that, right?

Angus:
There, we just played the WHOLE DAMN SONG. Happy yet Kevin? Jiles:
... pawn?

But my favorite was

Angus:
I get to raise the rabbits.

Because back in OLW, Jeff wrote a commentary bit about Of Mice and Men too.

Leslie Stanton:
If Alex Markham plays by the book, it's got to be the Grapes of Wrath. Because he's so boring.

Steven Styles:
I wanna tend the rabbits, George.I miss Steven Styles. He was Angus's stupider, less malicious twin.

What Ruled?: I complain about things which don't rule. If I don't mention it under what sucked, it ruled.

What Sucked?:
All the matches were at least decent, but there weren't any holy shit awesome ones this time. And there was at least one that just dropped off the second one guy won. Maybe DEF's spoiled me but that's started to bug me now.And CVC's seg where Charlene got pushed down the stairs. I dig CVC but the seg got kind of wall-of-texty in the middle and that took away from it.

Match of the Night: Honestly, I believe every single match on this card was very well written. I enjoyed every one of them, so I applaud all who contributed to them. The match writers here have an amazing way of pulling off the wrestlers very well, exactly as the handlers want them as far as I see, and that's a special talent. You'd think it'd be easy, but in my experience, it's a very hard thing to do. The main event was probably the stand out, but by no means does that put any of the other matches down. I thoroughly enjoyed reading each one, and long may it continue. Bravo, lads. Bravo.

Segment of the Night: I really enjoyed the stuff from Christian Light, those segments were a great read and I can't wait to see more in the future from that. My favourite one though was the show opener, I loved how that played out and it worked so well. Genuinely though, there really wasn't a bad segment that I read. My only disappointment was that I myself didn't put one up, but I intend on changing that for the next event.

Surprise of the Night: I haven't been here for that long really, but from what I've gathered so far, Christian Light was a pretty big surprise. I enjoyed his interference a lot, and like I stated previously, can't wait to see where it goes.

Holy Shit Moment of the Night: I think I need to go for the end of the show, that was just insane, such a good read.

Babyface of the Night: The Large Fan was a hero, but I've got to go for Python on this one.

Heel of the Night: I'll go for Blood Diamonds here, I definitely enjoy these guys.

MVP of the Night (IC): I don't really have a MVP here, I'd just like to give this honour to the show itself.

Best Line of the Night:
Angus:
There, we just played the WHOLE DAMN SONG. Happy yet Kevin?

What Ruled?
Everything, simply put. From the very opening line, to the last, it was a fantastic show. Personally, I don't care how long it takes to get these shows up, because when they do go up, they are the best shows I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Every segment, every match... top quality.

What Sucked? Me not getting a segment in, like an idiot.

Whatever Else You Can Think Of:
Not a lot to say here from me. I just want to give major props to everyone who contributed to this show in any sort of fashion, it was a delight to read. This makes me super excited to get rolling on the next event. Oh, and on a personal note, if anyone wants to do anything with Jamie, any ideas or whatever, hit me up :)

Well I was going to butt out as the new kid for a while, but seeing as justin has forced my hand...

Match of the Night: The Massive Crazy main event Brawl was top notch, I think I preferred the Ty Walker match

Segment of the Night: Quite liked the Ty Walker Tom Sawyer bromance, but the stuff with Light takes it

Surprise of the Night: Omar the shadowmen was really interesting and left me wondering what will happen next.

Holy Shit Moment of the Night: Brawl

Babyface of the Night: Ty Walker had a good night despite the loss

Heel of the Night:All were god but none stood out

MVP of the Night (IC): Python

Best Line of the Night: All the stuff with broson at commentary

What Ruled?: Most things

What Sucked? No heel really stole the show, but thats nitpicking.

Whatever Else You Can Think Of:
Line up please:p
