Thoughts? Love? Hatred?http://kingpro.supremepixels.com/results.htm
KINGPro hit Kentucky last Friday with a fierce display of the wrestling prowess that it and its employees have become known for. Prior to the show's beginning, a short question-and-answer session was held with Jimothy Ostrander and fan-favorite referee Kevin Arson, with Arson signing autographs afterwards.
The night began with King X and Oushiza taking on the tag team the Red Scare in an all-newcomers match. The Red Scare established themselves as a very solid tag team in the match as the first really united unit in KINGPro, giving the fans a strong match to start the evening.
Maldito and Kerry Ritter squared off in the night's second match-up, a contest that ended short but decisively. Did Maldito cement himself once again as a force to be reckoned with, or did Ritter make a quick name for himself?
The closing match of the evening pitted Paul Cashaw against Anders Duran in a crowd-pleaser; not a fan left dissatisfied after this spectacular contest. Duran brought his A-Game against Cashaw and Cashaw brought no less. The winner of this contest surely deserved the victory.
Kerry Ritter ran into law trouble just after the show, having struck a fan that began berating him. The fan was rushed to the hospital after "The Reaper's" attack. As Ritter was only three weeks freed from prison, Kentucky State Police were forced to take him into custody. BlueKingMedia has not disclosed how it is handling Ritter's case beyond the fact that he has been released from KINGPro.
Maldito complained of a niggling injury after the show and COO Daniel Stann has put him on the inactive roster while he is checked out. Head Medic Erwin Borkowitz suggests that Maldito might be back next week, but he might be out for a long while; it's a waiting game at this point. Oushiza has also been given the week off.
After Shawn Diamond's surprise pull-out of the match due to a family emergency, there were speculations by several news sources and even by roster members that he had left the promotion. However, Shawn Diamond was in contact with Daniel Stann and the KINGPro offices this week. About the matter, Stann stated the following: "He [Diamond] has not left the company. He is still under contract with KINGPro and has no intentions of asking for a release." Furthermore, the "Superior Superstar" went on to say he looks forward to his match this week and will be looking to get back on track. When asked about the family emergency, Shawn had no comment beyond revealing that his uncle had passed on. KINGPro wishes Shawn's family the best.
KINGPro will roll into Pennsylvania for its next exhibition. Shawn Diamond and Anders Duran will be headlining opposite the Red Scare. The show is stripped down from previous weeks, a decision that was supposedly made behind closed doors by the BlueKingMedia Board of Directors. Daniel Stann has made no comment and President Lacy Daniels was unavailable.
Do you think we're improving or falling backwards? What do you think we could improve?
