Fish Fund Thoughts...
...Hmm....
Well, here's one. Thank Goodness Chad finally stopped taping the Price Is Right and started posting the Main Event!
Great card. I'm impartial to the World Junior Junior match, but everything else on the card had no problems living up to the standards that match set.
Ahem.
I thought the roleplay heading into the card was really good, and the card itself was PPV worthy. Was it the best FF ever? Probably not, but it was darn good. Great job of writing to any and everyone who played a part.
Complaints? See above Price is Right jab. I don't think too many things were 'forced.' Not at all. The only angle that may have been ill-timed was the Intruders bit. Could have found another place for that one. Good angle, but did it take a little heat off the GXW stuff? Dunno.
I won the World title, so of course I'm liking the card. The downside is, i have to roleplay more now. NO JOKES RUSSO! YOU'RE ON THIN ICE AS IT IS. I wouldn't exactly say Windham came out of nowhere to win the title either. At least, no more than Steve Radder did. Seriously, who fell asleep at the wheel when Radder got the strap? Kidding.
The Flair/Deacon surprise was very well written and done. Back to the Intruders angle, "You're right Hornet this is a nice spot to cut a promo." That was nice, Nips.
All in all, despite Chad's delay...this has to be one of the quickest PPVs in CSWA history to be posted. That counts for something right.
Oh, Wicked Sight's turn. What's up with that? One minute the kid is walking around the locker room singing, "Good, Good, Good, Good Vibrations," and now he's turned his back on the CSWA.
That was actually one of the few fantasy heel turns I didn't see coming. Of course, I haven't read a full card since 1997, so my opinion doesn't hold too much water right now.
A great PPV guys. Sets up a lot of future angles.
Next PPV, who's up for a FireHouse match, or Wheel Of Death?
One final word on Fish Fund.
DO NOT...REBUILD.......THIS PARK.
