Ryan Aston and I are starting up a fed that will break the mold in FW. We like to call it La Federacion Mexicana de Lucha Libre! Now, you may be thinking "Oh, this is another one of those good-on-paper feds that will close down in a week", but I assure you, Mr. Aston and I have been working on this idea for a few months now, and even have a website developed.

I was really interested in joining as JA a bit ago (I was reading that page when that six man match was being promoted in the FWSS), but I was very wary because of the whole insistance on having mask vs. mask matches.

Is there any way I could avoid having mask vs. mask matches with JA? This is because the mask is a very integral part of JA's character and if he ever lost it, it would require a drastic change in character that I might not be ready to do.

If not, that's fine. I'd still be interested in joining as another masked character (probably the Phantom Republican or one of JA's brothers), but this is somethign I'd be interested in trying as my main character.

Now, a mask vs. mask match is a very very big match, so we won't be having one on every card, anyway. The promoters always decide when a lucha de apuestas will be held and whom shall participate, so if you don't want to lose the mask, that's perfectly fine.
