So here it is my last attempt at running a fed. First I want to thank Chad and everybody at FW for giving me this chance. My short comings in the past havn’t been drive but rather a lack of site skills. I thought in order to have a fed it had to look nice or nobody would join. I now know that is faulty logic.
So here I am. Our boards will be here at FW and our site will be myspace. It’s a different concept but why not used today’s hype machine to run a fed? It’s easy to update, navigate, and add content to. Plus its free and I’m cheap. I hope it catches on and guys on the roster even set up their own pages and what not. But I don’t expect that to happen.
This fed is going to be a slow build as I’ll tell a back story for the next few weeks until a roster is full. I’m not looking for a huge roster but rather a group of guys who want to have fun. It will be rp based with an emphasis on the wrestling world as opposed to great yet meaningless stories. I don’t want a trash talk federation but rather something between TT and novel.
The goal is to do a show a week and will be character driven. I want to bring back that old school feeling that e-wrestling once had where you don’t know what’s going to happen on the card. I still want segs and great rps but some of what happens is going to be in my hands. I would never put your character in a situation that the character never would do. I’m currently training at Second City and understand what it means to stay true to a character. So its going to be a trust thing and I’m sure I can earn your trust to maintain a fun federation that really is ROLE PLAY based. I’m not talking about written role plays but rather the basis of the game which is interaction between characters in a world run by a game master.
The more the roster fills up the more we will open discussion as to what you want out of the federation and the rules we need to set up. It will be for the most part a democratic process.
If you interested in joining me in any capacity please PM me your character or what you want to do to help grow this federation.
Thanks,
Al
Also this thread is open to any question or concern we can get them out of the way publicly as sort of an FAQ.
