Just watched it today. It was alright... and that's pretty much I can say about it.
The premise itself was pretty good, but I don't understand why they tried turning it into an action movie. The thought that kept popping up in my head is "guys in suits, trying to kill people in a dream world, where everything keeps turning slow motion, and everybody somehow knows kung fu... ****, haven't seen this before?" That, and it took me about a half an hour to figure out what was going on. It could have benefited greatly from maybe 15 or 20 extra minutes in the beginning to explain the whole extraction process; it just seems to throw you in the middle of things, and the minute you think you get an idea of what's happening, "Oh wait, this isn't your dream... it's MY dream!" Dream within a dream? WTF? Who is THAT guy? Wait, why is Leonardo DiCaprio being chased around in India? Is this another dream sequence? SH*T, I'm confused...
It's good to see an original movie again in theaters, but I think Nolan could have done better just making a subconscious thriller.
