Hey, I just posted this on the WFW board, figured I'd put it up here too for people that aren't in that one.
Well, I imagine a handful of you probably saw this coming, as I’ve basically been a non-presence in FWville for the past few months.
I’ve kind of got myself into a position where I’ve got so much going on lifewise at the moment (mostly good stuff) that FW has kept slipping lower and lower on my priority list, which is really unfair to people who have the wherewithal to give it the attention it deserves. Sooooo I’m officially taking myself off the “active” list. I don’t wanna make a big to-do about “retiring,” because a good portion of the people who “retired” ended up coming back at some point. In fact, I bet I’ve retired before and just don’t remember ‘cause I’ve been doing FW for like, more than 10 years by now.
If by chance I don’t come crawling back at sooner or later – Thought I should say I’ve had loads of fun with this quirky little creative outlet, got to know some awesome people, and became way better at the writing thing which I now get paid for some of the time. So thanks everybody! Group hug?!?
