(FADE-IN: A topographical map of the Great Lakes is shown. A golden GLCW logo materializes over it. CUE-UP: "Are You Ready" by AC/DC. CUT-TO: A panning view of the Western Michigan University Campus. CUT-TO: Downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. CUT-TO: The inside of the arena. A few thousand fans are shown going crazy as they realize the cameras are on. The camera pans the crowd as we see such signs as "MAELSTROM NEEDS A VACATION", "EL DIABLO ES MI SAVIOR", "NO RABESQUE NEEDED" and "KAREN JEWELLO CHRISTMAS TREES: FREE". CUE-UP: "N.W.O." by Ministry. The crowd goes nuts as Commissioner King Krusher steps from behind the curtain and stands on the ramp. He is wearing a black leather jacket, blue GLCW polo shirt and black jeans.)

KRUSHER: "Hello Kalamazoo and welcome to this week's Riptide! It's time for my weekly bull session, and after that we will get to what is gonna be a huge show! First things first, I have a few more announcements concerning Massive Assault next week in Grand Rapids. We have a few more matches signed. First, The Jobber will be defending his Television Title against Golem! (crowd pops) And I decided to make this a two-out-of-three falls match to decide who truly is the better man! (crowd pops again) Next, Kraven and Flatliner will defend the Great Lakes Tag Team Titles against Nick Kurtel and Xanatos! (crowd reacts) Also, we're gonna see a huge six man match as Gridlock and Angel Castillo take on 'Showtime' Steven James, 'The Wolf' Chris McMillan, and Cameron Cruise! (crowd cheers) So make sure that you tune in next week right here on Fox Sports Net to see all the action at Massive Assault 2002! Next order of business, and it is a doozy! Last week, Karen Jewello was kidnapped and tied up in the boiler room of the Metro Centre in Rockford, Illinois by an unknown assailant. Rockford Police have not been able to figure out who did it since there were no witnesses and Karen was attacked from behind. I think we all know who it is, and I have a pretty good idea myself. Let's run a tape from earlier today, where Lady Veronica tried to do her job and interview Michael Manson!"

(CUT-TO: Earlier footage of Lady Veronica standing out back. In front of her is Michael Manson. Tempest is pacing behind him and security is all around.)

LADY V: "Michael Manson, how do you feel about your upcoming match tonight with Jared Poe and Golem?"

(Manson stands there quietly, as he looks at Lady Veronica. Lady V just stands there with the mic in front of him. She frowns as she asks another question.)

LADY V: "Ok, how about the implications against you that Karen Jewello's situation last week was the direct result of your doings?"

(Manson continues to stand there without saying a word. He looks at Lady V without blinking.)

LADY V: "Michael, your last match against Troy Martinez, did he put up as big a fight as you were expecting?"

(Manson does not say a word. Lady V begins to look annoyed and flustered at the same time.)

LADY V: "Do you have anything to say about your doings?"

MANSON: "What would you do in that match?"

LADY V: "Well, uh, I'm not quite sure what you.."

(Tempest walks up behind Lady V and slaps her in the ass. She seems surprised as she falls forward into Michael Manson. She quickly recoils as she realizes what has happened. Manson takes out a camera and snaps a photo.)

MANSON: "That's going on the wall."

(Manson walks away, with Tempest behind. CUT-TO: Ringside.)

KRUSHER: "OK, so later on in the day, just before showtime, I hear Lady V screaming from her dressing room. I run over there and I walk in and I see this."

(The big screen lights up again and shows a panning shot of Lady V's dressing room, her walls covered with pictures of her walking around backstage, in the parking lot, and in other settings. The crowd buzzes.)

KRUSHER: "OK, so I've had enough. If one of you cameramen would follow me, I will take care of this situation right now."

(The cameraman follows KK into the back and he walks down a hall and knocks on a couple doors. Shortly, Maelstrom, Golem, Jean Rabesque and Jarod Poe are all walking behind KK down the hall. The crowd pops hard as they appear on the screen Krusher comes to a door and basically kicks it open, and Manson is sitting inside with Tempest playing cards. Krusher yells at Manson to get up and follow him as the four faces stand outside the door. Manson has a wide-eyed look of amazement on his face and tells them to get the hell out of there. Manson is still beligerant and KK motions to the four wrestlers. All four storm in and grab Manson. Maelstrom punches him a few times as Manson struggles, and Golem gets a few shots in too. Manson is dragged down the hall and thrown into a room surrounded by cameras and monitors with one chair in the middle. All the cameras are pointed at the chair. KK yells at Manson to sit down and dont move until its his turn to wrestle, as the four faces laugh and Manson curses and flicks them all off. KK shuts the door and locks it behind him and looks into the camera. The crowd is estatic while this is happening.)

KRUSHER: "Now that's how I like to take care of a true pain in the ass. Thanks guys."

(CUT-TO: The announce table. Tony Ross and Rick Wiseman sit in their respect seats with papers in front of them.)

ROSS: "Hello and welcome to another edition of GLCW Riptide as we come to you from Kalamazoo, Michigan! And what a way to start off Riptide than having none other than the GLCW Commissioner King Krusher put Michael Manson in his place!"

WISEMAN: "Maelstrom, Jean Rabesque, Golem and Jared Poe all have history with Manson, so its nice to see them willing to aid King Krusher."

ROSS: "Michael Manson has been a nuisance here in the GLCW and it all culminated last week when he made Karen Jewello a victim of a heinous act.."

WISEMAN: "I agree, Tony. Although many people believe there is absolutely NO evidence to suggest that Michael Manson had anything to do with Karen Jewello's high wire act!"

ROSS: "Logic and common sense is all you need to associate Michael Manson with that act of brutality."

WISEMAN: "I cannot wait for this edition of Riptide to take off, we've got an action packed show for you tonight.

ROSS: "But fans before we get into tonight's actions, we have the updated match list for those matches that will appear LIVE on Massive Assault. And the first match we have is the Six Man Match between Gridlock and Angel Castillo who'll be taking on Steven James, Chris McMillan and Cameron Cruise."

WISEMAN: "That should be an interesting match, Tony, as Gridlock and Angel Castillo seem to be pretty well matched as a team. Although one cannot count out Steven James, Chris McMillan and the newcomer here in the GLCW, Cameron Cruise."

ROSS: "I agree whole heartedly. A lot is to be seen of Cruise, however, and I'm sure he'll have an immediate impact on the match."

WISEMAN: "Another match that should be pretty good is the Detroit Street Fight match between Jared Poe and the Masked Blazer."

ROSS: "Poe and the Blazer have both been great contributors to the GLCW. It should be a great match concerning these two. Two different styles competiting in a match where anything goes. But how about the "I-Quit" match between Jean Rabesque and 'Simply Sensational' Sean Edmunds? This is about six or seven years of history about to come to a historic close at Massive Assault."

WISEMAN: "Totally. Especially with the recent match these two had, in which it was inevitably that Edmunds was going to receive his first win over Rabesque in a singles match ever. Edmunds however had different plans and got himself disqualified.."

(A highlight of the Toledo house card is shown, as Edmunds walks out on the match)

ROSS: "One has to wonder the reasons behind that, Rick. The GLCW Tag Team titles will be on the line at Massive Assault as well as current champions Kraven and Flatliner will take on the team of Nick Kurtel and Xanatos."

WISEMAN: "I like the way Kurtel and Xanatos move together. They seem to have a good balance with each other. But I'm not sure if that balance will be enough to topple Kraven and Flatliner who have seemed utterly unbeatable."

ROSS: "Time will tell, Rick. Massive Assault will be Kurtel and Xanatos' chance to bask in the spotlight."

WISEMAN: "Speaking of the spotlight, one of the matches that I am most looking forward to is the Television title match. Two out of three falls match between champion, The Jobber, and Golem."

ROSS: "The Jobber has been speaking to anyone who will listen that he's on the road to Golem, and then to the Heavyweight Title. Golem is looking to teach the Jobber a lesson and take his precious title in the meantime."

WISEMAN: "And to assure everyone that there will not be a fluke count that will decide this match, King Krusher has made it two out of three falls."

ROSS: "And the main event of Massive Assault is an excellent representation of what the event should mean as we have the GLCW Heavyweight title on the line."

WISEMAN: "Michael Manson will be defending his title against the monster Maelstrom in a Covered Cage match. This match will not be for the weak of knees or the weak of heart."

ROSS: "And there will be a conclusion untouched by outside interference thanks to the covered cage.."

WISEMAN: "Massive Assault will be an incredible event, so make sure you tune in fans!"

ROSS: "And moving from Massive Assault back to Riptide! Thank you all for joining us tonight and we are all set for our next match! Let's take you to Matt Faley!"

MATT FALEY: "Welcome everyone to GCLW Riptide! (crowd pops) Introducing first.. (CUE-UP: "The Final Countdown" by Europe) "From Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 260lbs., THE EMERALD WARRIOR!! He is accompanied by Warren Nickolson!"

(Emerald Warrior walks down to ringside with Nickolson in front of him. The crowd cheers.)

FALEY: "And his opponent.. (CUE-UP: "Dogs of War" by Pink Floyd) from Cadillac, Michigan, weighing in at 180 pounds, 'the WOLF' Chris McMillan!"

(Crowd pops as McMillan jogs down to ringside. He hops into the ring and stares at Emerald Warrior.)

ROSS: "And the bell has rung starting this edition of Riptide!"

WISEMAN: "And McMillan quickly on the offensive as he, no I stand corrected!"

ROSS: "McMillan went for a quick spear attempt, but Emerald Warrior moved to the side and McMillan went straight into the ropes! He gets up, and Warrior with a whip to the ropes, puts his head down, BIG BACKBODY DROP."

WISEMAN: "McMillan a little anxious here as he made a cardinal mistake."

ROSS: "McMillan back up and now they lock up in a collar and elbow tie up. McMillan with the go behind .. and Warrior looking for a way to get out of the move .. and elbow to the head almost breaks the move. McMillan tightening his grip on the arm, but Emerald Warrior with another elbow breaks the hold. Warrior face to face with McMillan. The Wolf goes for a right hook, but Emerald Warrior ducks and hits McMillan with an uppercut."

WISEMAN: "Emerald Warrior quickly outwitting McMillan with pretty basic moves."

ROSS: "Emerald Warrior now with an irish whip into the corner. Charges in, but McMillan moves! McMillan turns around, and gets CLOTHESLINED by Warrior who stopped himself from hitting the turnbuckle."

WISEMAN: "Warrior is showing some intelligence here. He picks up McMillan, but McMillan with a hip toss."

ROSS: "McMillan walks over to Emerald Warrior .. and Warrior with a jab in the eyes stops McMillan's advance. Warrior now the hook, SNAP SUPLEX. Warrior against the ropes, hits a knee drop and McMillan tries to roll over into the corner to get some time to rethink his strategy."

WISEMAN: "But Warrior catches him before he can and drops the leg over the throat of McMillan. Emerald Warrior picks up 'the Wolf'. And now McMillan manages to counter the inverted atomic drop attempt with a clothesline of his own!"

ROSS: "McMillan drags Warrior into the center of the ring and now is putting a figure four on.. NO! WARRIOR WITH A SMALL PACKAGE! ONE ... TWO .. KICKOUT by 'the Wolf'!"

WISEMAN: "Jean Rabesque wouldn't have been too happy if Chris McMillan was defeated by botching the figure four."

ROSS: "I don't think he would have been either, Rick. McMillan quickly up and misses with the dropkick. McMillan again misses. Emerald Warrior with punches to the head. Goes for a roundhouse, but McMillan ducked and hits him with a heel kick. He covers Emerald Warrior. ONE .. and Warrior kicks out. McMillan now going to the corner.. he gets on the second rope and waits for the Emerald Warrior to get up. Warrior is up ..."

WISEMAN: "And McMillan comes off the second rope!"

ROSS: "Warrior with good response time catches McMillan and turns it into a powerslam! The cover ... ONE .. TW.. kickout by 'The Wolf'."

WISEMAN: "McMillan and Warrior up on their feet now. McMillan moving a little slow, dont you think?"

ROSS: "Yes, he's been moving a little slow ever since the match began."

WISEMAN: "I wonder if all his injuries are starting to catch up with him?"

ROSS: "It looks that way, Rick! McMillan slow to move in on Emerald Warrior as Warrior easily avoids a back elbow. Warrior hooks him up though .. GERMAN SUPLEX. Warrior looks at Nickolson, and Nickolson looks to be giving him the go sign! Warrior waiting for McMillan to stand up.. goes for the headlock ... but 'the Wolf' throws him into the ropes.. Warrior on his way back, McMillan puts his head down SUNSET FLIP... ONE .... TWO ... THREE!!"

WISEMAN: "And it looks as if Chris McMillan just couldn't overcome anything tonight as the Emerald Warrior gets an easy victory here tonight on Riptide."

FALEY: "The winner of this match, the EMERALD .... WARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIOR!"

ROSS: "Chris McMillan very slow to roll out of the ring as the fans cheer the Warrior on."

WISEMAN: "Tony, I've just received word from one of our backstage canaries that someone is coming from the room where Michael Manson is, let's head to the back and see whats happening."

(CUT-TO: Backstage. Jean Rabesque is coming from the room where Michael Manson is locked up in. Out of nowhere 'Simply Sensational' Sean Edmunds comes from behind and hits him in the back of the head with a chair. Rabesque goes down and Edmunds tosses the chair to the side. Rabesque groggily starts to get up, but Edmunds kicks him in the head. He then puts Jean in the Figure Four leglock. Jean Rabesque is screaming in pain and Edmunds slaps him in the face a few times.)

EDMUNDS: "How do you like that, Jean? You're nothing. A big fat ZERO."

(Referees rush into the view and berate Edmunds. After he releases the hold he is restrained by the referees as Rabesque is still on the ground. Edmunds breaks free from the refs for long enough to kick Rabesque in the face as he was trying to get up. He spits on him.)

EDMUNDS: "I'll see you at Massive Assault, Jean. (smiles) That's if you have the legs to stand up to me with."

(Edmunds leaves the shot. CUT-TO: Commercial for the next house show in Saginaw, MI as Jean Rabesque is still on the ground holding his knee.)
