(FADE-IN: An area somewhere in the arena where two security guards are standing with their hands on their hips and trying not to smile. All of a sudden a sewer cap on the floor pops open. The crowd cheers. Jake Shades starts to come up through the manhole and he is covered with sewer trash and is wet. He is holding a manilla envelope in his hand. He looks up shocked that security is there. One of the security men uses his foot to push Shades' head back down and he covers the manhole. As they start moving some crates over the cap Shades becomes irate.)

SHADES: "Wait! Let me in! I've got it all right here! I'm going to put Malec out of business! Out of business, I tell ya!"

GUARD: "I'm sure you will.. sure you will."

(The guards move the last crate on as Shades continues to yell. CUT-TO: Ringside with the commentators.)

WISEMAN: "What on Earth was Jake Shades doing in the SEWERS of the arena?"

ROSS: "I don't know, Rick, but he had something in that envelope that he was convinced would shut Malec down... I can only wonder what that is. In fact, I don't even want to know and I wish Shades woul just go away already. But folks our next match should be a doosy..."

(The lights in the arena cut to black. The big screen lights up to a white screen.)

ROSS: "Now whats going on? Did Shades cut the electricity?"

(A cannon slowly fades into view on the big screen. Its directly facing the audience and the wick is burning quickly.. after about a 15 seconds or so, the screen abruptly turns off and the arena lights turn on.)

WISEMAN: "What was that all about?"

ROSS: "I don't know, fans, but whatever that is, the cannon sure looked about ready to go off!"

WISEMAN: "Maybe we can find out some more answers later, but lets move on to our next match.."

ROSS: "Yes, Nick Kurtel and the man we've already seen once this episode, 'Simply Sensational' Sean Edmunds."

WISEMAN: "Edmunds attacked Jean Rabesque as Rabesque was coming from the room Michael Manson is being kept. And he had some pretty strong words to say to the downed Rabesque."

ROSS: "And those two will be facing off in an I-Quit match at Massive Assault, but coming up, Edmunds will have to make his way through Nick Kurtel."

WISEMAN: "And Kurtel took exception to the words that Edmunds said leading into this match, as most people who face Edmunds do. Lets go to Matt Faley."

FALEY: "Ladies and gentlemen, the next match on this edition of GLCW Riptide is set for one fall.. introducing first.. (CUE-UP: 'the Breakdown' by Tantric, as Kurtel comes out to a pretty impressive fan reaction. He plays to the crowd as he slides into the ring and waits for Edmunds) from BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS .. weighing 220 pounds .. NICK ... KURTELLLLLLLLL!"

ROSS: "You know both of these men are actually pretty similar.."

FALEY: "And his opponent.. (CUE-UP: "Brain Stew" by Green Day. As the fans hear the first three notes to the music they start to boo heavily. Edmunds walks out in his attire, and slowly walks down to the ring. He stops at one fan that has a 'EDMUNDS FEARS RABESQUE' sign and rips it away from him.. He rips up the sign and tosses it back at the kid, who is stunned.) Also hailing from BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS .. standing 6'0" and weighing 228 pounds... 'SIMPLY SENSATIONAL' SEAN ... EDMUNDSSSSSSS!"

ROSS: "They're both from Boston, Rick, and Edmunds only weighs 8 pounds more than Kurtel.."

WISEMAN: "But apparently Edmunds doesn't like the fans input on his and Jean Rabesque's affair.."

ROSS: "Edmunds has a tendency to let the fans annoy him, and he always has.. The bell rings and we are underway."

WISEMAN: "Edmunds and Kurtel slowly circling each other.. Collar and elbow tieup.. And Kurtel now pushes Edmunds back into the corner. They're in the corner and the referee trying to break the hold .. Edmunds goes for a cheap shot on Kurtel, but Kurtel ducked and picks him up and puts him on the top rope! Kurtel quickly up there as well, turns Edmunds around.. SUPERPLEX by Kurtel and both men are on the mat!"

ROSS: "This is quickly turning into seeing which man will be able to last longer during the higher impact moves. Kurtel meets Edmunds who was getting up, european uppercut and Edmunds is back on the ropes. Kurtel in, and an irish whip, no Edmunds reverses! Charges in afterwards and a KNEE LIFT into the stomach of Kurtel sends him flipping onto the mat!"

WISEMAN: "Kurtel didn't hold on hard enough to complete the irish whip and he payed for it. You can't make mistakes like that against someone whose been around the block like Edmunds."

ROSS: "Edmunds against the ropes and hits the baseball slide right into the side of Kurtel. Edmunds getting up now and he's yelling at the fans!"

WISEMAN: "And the fans are yelling back, Tony. Edmunds turns around, and gets A SPINNING HEEL KICK for his troubles!"

ROSS: "Kurtel with a quick cover.. ONE ... T.. no, Edmunds kicked out after one. Kurtel picks Edmunds up by his hair and brings him against the ropes, irish whip, Kurtel against the opposite ropes, and a running clothesline takes Edmunds down again. Kurtel over to Edmunds, drops an elbow on his chest and pins him.."

WISEMAN: "But he only gets a one count as Edmunds easily got his shoulder up. Kurtel needs to put more weight on the shoulders if he wants to pin Edmunds.."

ROSS: "I agree, Rick. Kurtel and Edmunds both on their feet now.. exchanging lefts and rights.. Kurtel doubles Edmunds over with a punch to the gut.. and now he has Edmunds up for a POWERBOMB.. NO EDMUNDS WITH A HURRICANRANA PIN... ONE .. TWO .. and Kurtel kicks out!"

WISEMAN: "Edmunds knew exactly what he was going to do before Kurtel even had him up.. Great awareness by Edmunds."

ROSS: "Edmunds now punching Kurtel in the face repeatedly and the ref tells him to get off. Edmunds quickly to the top rope... ELBOW DROP FROM THE TOP ROPE. Thats usually the move he does before the Northern Lights Suplex.."

WISEMAN: "Edmunds has one of the greatest Northern Lights Suplex's that I've ever seen. Maybe the greatest.. he's perfected the move to the degree."

ROSS: "Sets himself up now.. NO! KURTEL COUNTERED WITH A DDT.. Covers.. ONE ... TWO ... THR- KICKOUT.."

WISEMAN: "Edmunds trying to finish this one quickly so he can move on to Jean Rabesque at Massive Assault, but he underestimated the fatigue of Kurtel and almost paid for it."

ROSS: "A loss here would surely take all the air out of Edmunds' sails as the GLCW gets closer and closer to Massive Assault."

WISEMAN: "Kurtel slow to get up as Edmunds is catching a quick breather on the ropes. Kurtel up and bounces against the ropes, he jumps onto Edmunds' back and.. no Edmunds moved as Kurtel tried to strangle him with the ropes and Kurtel goes sailing right outside the ring!"

ROSS: "Edmunds slowly rolls to the outside and has Kurtel .. and he smashes his face into the guardrail. Irish whip, REVERSED, no REVERSED again by Edmunds and Kurtel goes sailing into the ring steps!"

WISEMAN: "The ref's count is at 6 as Edmunds rolls back into the ring and back out of the ring.."

ROSS: "He walks over to Kurtel who is favoring his back.. a punch to the small of the back has Kurtel bent forwards.. Edmunds hooks him, GERMAN SUPLEX ON THE FLOOR!"

WISEMAN: "Now Edmunds rolls Kurtel back into the ring and he climbs onto the apron.. CATAPULTS OVER AND LANDS ON KURTEL.. the cover!"

ROSS: "And Edmunds puts his FEET ON THE SECOND ROPE for more leverage!! ONE .... TWO ... THR.. NO! The ref caught a glimpse of his feet and stopped the count. Now the ref is berading Edmunds."

WISEMAN: "This is giving Nick Kurtel some much needed rest.."

ROSS: "Edmunds back over to Kurtel, but Kurtel grabs him and throws him into the corner and Edmunds' head hit that top turnbuckle.. Edmunds stumbles backwards, ROLL UP.. ONE ... TWO .. kickout by Edmunds! Nick Kurtel almost got the victory right there.."

WISEMAN: "Edmunds is quickly up and is stomping Kurtel a new face.. The ref quickly in to try to stop Edmunds from doing so.."

ROSS: "Edmunds pushes the ref to the side and drops the elbow on the face of Kurtel and Kurtel is bleeding from his nose.."

WISEMAN: "And the ref is irate, he is telling Edmunds that if he touches him one more time he will be disqualified. I know Edmunds wanted to be disqualified at the house show when he faced Jean Rabesque, but I highly doubt he wants to be disqualified against Nick Kurtel!"

ROSS: "Kurtel up and holding his nose.. Edmunds coming in, Kurtel goes for a quick roundhouse kick but Edmunds ducks under... hooks him.. BUTTERFLY SUPLEX. Edmunds now over.. what is he doing?"

WISEMAN: "He's locking on the FIGURE FOUR! He is trying to make Nick Kurtel submit to Jean Rabesque's hold..."

ROSS: "And Kurtel is screaming in agony ... Kurtel trying to get to the ropes but the ropes are too far away.."

WISEMAN: "Now Kurtel is trying to turn it over ... he's rocking back and forth.. and Edmunds is trying his damndest to keep the move locked in."

ROSS: "Kurtel ALMOST GOT IT REVERSED that time and Edmunds had a look of pure shock on his face!"

WISEMAN: "THERE IT IS! Kurtel flips it over and Edmunds is now screaming... and Edmunds quickly releases his legs to get out of the hold!"

ROSS: "I guess he didn't like being in the figure four.."

WISEMAN: "Edmunds back up and he's seeing if his leg is ok.."

ROSS: "One thing about Edmunds that I've always admired was that he hasn't had an injury that has kept him from competing since he's been wrestling. He had a few bouts with injuries early in his career, but he's seemed to have put those behind him.."

WISEMAN: "Edmunds thinks his leg is fine as he walks over towards Kurtel, Kurtel with a leg sweep and Edmunds is on his back. Kurtel goes to drop the knee, but Edmunds moves... and Kurtel is favoring his knee now.."

ROSS: "Edmunds picks up Kurtel.. PILEDRIVES him into the mat! Now Edmunds is ascending the ropes.. and he stops to yell at the crowd.. he should have learned before not to let the crowd interfere with his actions.. Kurtel isn't moving though ... Edmunds off the top.. AND CONNECTS WITH THE FLYING ELBOW DROP!!!"

WISEMAN: "He's calling for it! Edmunds standing over the motionless body of Nick Kurtel and now he points to the back... clearly a reference at Jean Rabesque.."

ROSS: "Edmunds picks up Nick Kurtel... places his head underneath Kurtel's arm..... THERE IT IS! NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX BY EDMUNDS!! ONE ....... TWO ...... THREEEEE!!! 'Simply Sensational' Sean Edmunds has won this match here on Riptide and will be going into Massive Assault victorious!"

FALEY: "The winner of this match .... 'SIMPLY ... SENSATIONAL' SEAAAAAAAAN EDMUNDSSSSSSSSSSS!"

ROSS: "Now what is Edmunds doing? He kicks Kurtel out of the ring with his foot and now he's demanding the microphone from Faley...."

EDMUNDS: "Jean, oh Jean? Where for art thou, Jean? (Crowd boos) Probably getting his leg wrapped up. (Edmunds laughs) I can already hear him now (mimicks Jean Rabesque's voice with an exagerrated monotone) 'The only way you can get me is by blindsiding me and then running.' (back to normal) I was there Jean. I was WAITING for you to get back up. But guess what? You didn't get back up. You were lying there like the helpless little (BLEEP) you are! (crowd boos, some throw empty coke things in the ring) Oh spare me the OUTPOUR.. Rabesque deserves to be drug out to the barn and shot. His time is OVER. And if there is anyone in this arena who believes Jean Rabesque is a hero (crowd pops huge) then they should move back to their trailor parks and housing projects. (Crowd almost overwhelms Edmunds with boos) What really disgusts me is that I need to wait a week or so until I can finally get Jean in the ring and finish what I started in Toledo. I'm going to make him squirm and then he's going to realize that I am the SUPERIOR wrestler.. and he will submit. (crowd boos) You thought that the figure four was a cheap shot, Jean? You just wait until Massive Assault. That's when the (BLEEP) hits the fan!"

(Rabesque comes from out of the crowd and the crowd pops. He has a limp, and grabs a chair. Edmunds is looking up the ramp and doesnt see Jean slide into the ring behind him. Rabesque hits Edmunds in the knee with the chair. He immediately puts the figure four on Edmunds who looks bewildered.)

ROSS: "And Rabesque has finally snapped! He has finally had enough of Edmunds' talk and his constant attacks!"

WISEMAN: "Listen to Rabesque! We have officials who have flooded the ring trying to keep these two apart and Rabesque is screaming "SAY IT!" ... He wants Edmunds to say he quits... but Edmunds is only yelling .. FINALLY the officials get Edmunds free and he quickly rolls to the outside. Rabesque is LIVID and is over at the ropes! HE HAS EDMUNDS BY THE HAIR!! He's trying to pull EDMUNDS BACK INTO THE RING!"

ROSS: "But Edmunds just poked Rabesque in the eye and Rabesque drops him to the floor! Edmunds is trying to limp out of here as fast as he can!! Rabesque is ANGRY!"

WISEMAN: "That match should have a lot of TENSION in it when those two come to blows finally at Massive Assault.. but when we come back fans, the man you just saw lose his cool will take on one half of the GLCW Tag Team Champions.. RABESQUE ... FLATLINER... NEXT!"

(FADE-OUT: Commercial hyping GLCW's next supercard, MASSIVE ASSAULT, featuring 'Simply Sensational' Sean Edmunds taking on Jean Rabesque in an 'I-Quit' match! Will Edmunds finally chase the demons from his closet, or will Jean Rabesque make Edmunds not only submit, but also acknowledge that he'll never be as good as Rabesque? FIND OUT!)
