The Phenom
Heh... OK, so maybe I'm the only guy here who cares about this PARTICULAR situation, but in response to Andrei Kirilenko being selected as a reserve to the West squad for next week's all-star game, Carmelo Anthony of the Nuggets said this...
from the Denver Post:
"He averages 16 points," Anthony said. "If you want to go by numbers, our record is better. What can you go by? More rebounds? More assists?"
Anthony said he probably wouldn't accept an invitation to play in the game if another player dropped out because of injury because he wasn't selected by the coaches.
___

My bad 'Melo, you're obviously more deserving. Heh... just goes to show that what I've been saying all along is true. Carmelo Anthony is the DEVIL!! All-Star my ass... I mean, if he's gonna try the 'My team is better' argument, you HAVE to go to Michael Finley or Latrell Sprewell before him. As far as numbers go, Zach Randolph and Elton Brand are both looking better as well. Anyhow, that's my rant... how 'bout you guys, anybody you think got snubbed? How 'bout Lebron out east with an All-Star team that includes Magloire from the Hornets? What do you think?
