The night sky in all its darkness stands above Denver Colorado and the hotel suite of "Yours Truly" Adam Benjamin. From the view of his window the moon shines in with all its brightness. The time on the clock reads 4:00 am as Adam lays motionless in his bed.
Adam has finally fallen asleep. His day was full with press interviews, a heavy workout in the gym, along with dinner with the Mayor of Colorado John W. Hickenlooper. To say the life of the TV champ is a busy one would be a understatement.
None the less Adam will soon wake for another day full of press interviews, workouts, and other important tasks.
However tonight Adam seems to be not sleeping well as he is tossing and turning. Suddenly like a rocket he springs up in his bed in a cold sweat. A bit confused he clears his face of the sweat and begins to slowly breathe to calm himself.
Slowly he gets out of bed shaking a bit as if he has seen a ghost. he makes his way over the the fridge and gets a bottle of water out and begins drinking it.
With the empty bottle in hand he makes his way over to a chair and sits. His legs begin to shake, suddenly his hands begins to shake as well... His eyes look downward in fear, not knowing what is going on he yells out loud "help"...
He then emerges up and begins to try and run in place to regain his composure. That does no good as he turns on the TV...
"Wrestling unplugged" a local TV show is airing. Adam sits and begins watching.
TV guy: And how about young Mike Evers?
Adam looks at the TV with a surprising look and quickly turns it off. he then emerges and lets out a "What the F" comment.
Could it be has Evers has gotten to "Your Truly" Adam Benjamin? If asked Adam would put on his game face and laugh but could the truth be that a young lad has gotten under the skin of this British superstar?
He stands in the middle of the room frozen. His entire world seemingly is coming full circle right at him. Again the sweat begins to pour down his face.
Suddenly he goes to a knee. His equilibrium has given way. He clutches the chair in the room and stands back up.
He then makes his way towards the bathroom turning on the light as he enters. Face down in the sink he begins running the water and splashing his face. Grabbing a towel off the rack he dries his face off and looks into the mirror.
The steam from the hot water has cover the mirror. With the towel he begins clear the mirror off to reveal his reflection.
But suddenly it changes. The face in the mirror is not that of "Your Truly" but that of Mike Evers.
Rattled with surprise he stumbles back falling against the wall. Grabbing a scale off the floor he tosses it at the mirror shattering it into pieces.....
Exiting the room he goes back towards his bed. As he sits the he begins talking to himself. "Adam you are god and he is scum. Do not fear this man, for he is not your equal. That is right I am the TV champ."
Smiling at himself he lays back in his bed and says "I am going to kill that punk".....
(Fade to black)
