SWIFT: MMA
PROUDLY PRESENTS
RETALIATION 3
*
CUE UP: “Little Things” by Danny Elfman & UNKLE as the camera’s fade into in Houston, Texas as a the camera’s pan in a circle, fully exposing the cheering of a violent audience that wants one thing and one thing only, fighting. They have beers in their hands as the camera turns around the octagon cage, finally zooming in at our announcer area where Troy Young and Andrew Parker sit.
*
YOUNG: And we are live right here in Houston, Texas for what may be an exciting night in the world of Mixed Martial Arts, and it’s all brought to you by SWIFT.
*
PARKER: Couldn’t have said it better my self Troy, tonight will harvest probably the top two fights of SWIFT, but one thing is for certain, whatever comes from these fights will lead to us getting closer to a champion.

YOUNG: That’s why all these MMA fans are here, hello I am Troy Young and with me is Andrew Parker, tonight will boast two fights, we were scheduled for three Andrew.
*
PARKER: Well we were but a training injury will leave Edward Rain out of this fight, and maybe out of the sport of MMA we are not to certain as of yet more to come as we get news from the figure heads.
*
YOUNG: Now with that said Andrew, and you are a lot more in focus with the sport of MMA than I am, what does that mean for Kenneth Williams?
*
PARKER: Williams is not new to any environment of fighting, the guy is a brick house, it is going to hurt hi a bit that he is not going to be able to fight tonight but it won’t be such a shell shock.
*
YOUNG: Do you think that because of this cancelled match up that him over training will cause a defeat later when he does get a match or is this a plus on his side, no fight, no injuries and he is going to walk in 100%?

PARKER: As the saying goes you never really walk into a fight 100%, even Jonathan Marx tonight, he has been in two fights already this is going to be his third in a month, that is unheard of, but that’s what’s expected when you sign that contract with Colin Corvitz. He wants you to fight, and he will push a fight week after week until you say, ‘hey I need a break.’
*
YOUNG: Let’s talk about the Liu Kuan versus Jimmy Rollins fight, we have two new comers to our cage, both fighting for title contender-ship in this round robin, which is amazing. Liu Kane is a karate guy, we have seen these guys before, good strikers, decent ground. Is he really a good match up against the Judo specialist Jimmy Rollins?
*
PARKER: We are going to see two things from these guys, a lot of counter punches from Kuan and a lot of throws from Rollins. The issue is will Rollins be able to change elevation to get in clinch range of Kuan for those throws and trips.
*
YOUNG: I think he can, I stopped into Rollins gym, watched the guy train, he is a hard worker, he can put out a persons lights.
*
PARKER: And so can Kuan, so we are looking at a pretty decent match up there.
*
YOUNG: You know where I am going next don’t you? I love Jonathan Marx, I think he is the best thing to hit MMA, to even hit SWIFT!

PARKER: Marx has impressed everyone his last two fights, one fight he won by an easy TKO and the second fight by a clear rear naked choke. He has shown much improvement in his game, bar none. But…
*
YOUNG: There is always a but, isn’t there?
*
PARKER: In this case yes, David Abbey and Edward Rain were hyped, David Abbey has left SWIFT, exited contract after his fight with Marx, Edward Rain injured about to exit contract, who is Marx facing this week? A very eager, very willing to punish Eli Scheinberg.
*
YOUNG: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Stop it there my friend, Marx is creditable, he is practically a corner stone of SWIFT, he is an icon in professional wrestling, the end. I see this fight ending round one.
*
PARKER: Well, its wrestler versus wrestler so this match will be technical, it will be hard and it will be a test of strength There is no room for error by either of these two men, who ever makes the first mistake will pay, and pay dearly.
*
YOUNG: Well as I said, Marx, first round. What we have occurring in SWIFT at the moment is a round robin tournament, each fighter will fight one another on different Retaliations each win will count as a point, the top two fighters with the most points will advance to fight for our beloved SWIFT: Championship at our first pay per view, End Game.
*
PARKER: It is very exciting when you think about it Troy, our champion will be crowned shortly.

Re: Retaliation 3 1.9.2010

YOUNG: That’s right but first comes our opening fight of the night! Tale of the tape is sponsored by Budlight, the difference is drinkability! Liu Kuan is standing at exactly five-eleven and comes in two hundred and two pounds, James Rollins a towering six-foot five over Kuan, and coming in at 235 on the button.
*
(CUE UP: “Liar by the Rollins Band Rollins comes out wearing a long, sleeveless black hoodie with the hood up. Accompanied by his team, his mood is very pensive and silent until he walks in the cage and takes off his accessories preparing fo the fight.)
*
( CUE UP: “For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica” as Liu comes out wearing a black hooded robe made of silk, he has the hood up and carries a Sycthe in his right hand. His overall mood is usually focused on the match, underneath the robe he wears a pair of black trunks with the word Grim Reaper written in white on the back. He enters the cage as well, warming up a bit before introductions.)
*
YOUNG: We turn it over to Jeff Harper.
*
HARPER: Welcome to SWIFT: MMA!!!! And tonight’s first bout of the evening!!! Introducing first! Standing in the blue corner, this man is a karate expert and weighs in at two hundred and two pounds and standing at five feet eleven inches tall. Holding a no win, no loss and no draw SWIFT MMA record! Fighting of out of Beijing, China! LIU “THE GRIM REAPER” KUAN!!!!!!!!!
*
(Good size pop from the crowd.)
*
HARPER: And his opponent standing in the red corner. He is a Judo fighter and holds an SWIFT record of no wins with no loses and no draws. Weighing in at two hundred thirty pounds and standing six foot five inches tall! He hails from* Raleigh, *North Carolina! JAMES “THE THINK TANK” ROLLINS!!!! And when the action begins our referee in charge of this contest is Joel Morales.
*
PARKER: Kuan, Rollins! Here we go, round one underway of three, Kuan wearing the blue trunks, Rollins in the green, Rollins dancing in the center, Kuan looking very stiff, which can pose a problem.
*
YOUNG: Rollins throwing a hard jab, but Kuan just moves out of the way, he is pretty elusive out there, looking stiff but he can move as we just saw with that.
*
PARKER: Rollins doubling up his jabs, trying to clinch Kuan, but Kuan just ducks out with a body shot to the right side of Rollins.
*
YOUNG: That was a right upper cut there Andrew from Kuan, he has good distance from Rollins, Rollins just jabbing, trying to find range.
*
PARKER: I think Rollins is under estimating Kuan here, he is smaller, yes, but he is very, very fast. And if he leaves his hands down like he is doing throwing those range jabs he’s going to….
*
YOUNG: OH MY GOD!!!!! SUPERMAN PUNCH BY LIU KUAN!!!!!! ROLLINS IS DOWN!!! ROLLINS IS DOWN!!!!!
*
PARKER: KUAN IS STANDING OVER HIM JUST WRECKING HIS FACE WITH PUNCHES, JOEL MORALES IS RIPPING KUAN OFF ROLLINS!!!! IT IS OVER!!!!! KNOCK OUT BY LIU KUAN!!!
*
YOUNG: Can you say, knock out? Jesus…Rollins was setting those jabs up nice, looking to gain distance for something, and right when he slipped the left jab Liu Kane backs up and lunges forward just implanting his fist into the front of Rollins face, a perfectly aimed shot, what a superman punch, just wow.
*
PARKER: Not even forty-five seconds into the fight and we have a knock out victory by Liu Kuan, that is the fastest knock out in SWIFT history, and that man right there owns it.
*
YOUNG: Incredible.
*
PARKER: We are going to turn on over to Jeff Harper for our official decision.
*
HARPER: Ladies and gentlemen we have received a decision at thirty eight seconds in the first round of this bout, your winner by way of knockout! LIU “THE GRIM REAPER” KUAN!!!!!!!!!!
*
YOUNG: Liu Kuan picks up his first professional MMA victory here in Huston, Texas.
*
PARKER: You know what this means, don’t you Troy? Marx and Scheinberg are up next!
*
YOUNG: That’s correct, Eli Scheinberg is a Jewish man from Manchester, England, trained primarily in the art of wrestling he is no stranger to mixed martial arts, fighting over fifteen amateur fights in England.

PARKER: But is he a match up for Jonathan Marx? Will he put a stop to Marx’s winning streak or will Jonathan Marx prove to us why he has dominated the cage since his arrival in SWIFT.

Re: Retaliation 3 1.9.2010

YOUNG: Our tale of the tape! Sponsored by Shiner LLC, Shiner clothing, simply awesome. Eli Scheinberg will come in weighing two hundred pounds even, standing at five feet eleven inches tall, his opponent Jonathan Marx weighing in at two hundred and four pounds this evening, standing at six foot one, height advantage goes to Marx.
*
PARKER: This is it, the main event of the night in Huston!
*
(CUE UP SUPER SONIC by Oasis as Eli Scheinberg comes out with quite the collection of trainers and entourage. One guy is carrying a British flag, another the Israeli flag. He wears a pair of tights, black cut-off gloves, and boots that match the respective pant leg. On his right leg, the British flag is made out on his tights. On his left, it's the Israeli flag with the blue Star of David resting on the outside of his thigh. His friends and family in attendance start up the football chant, "MANCHESTER - LA LA LA! MANCHESTER - LA LA LA!" Eli enters the octagon as he stands in the left hand side of the cage, waiting patiently.)
*
(CUE UP: “The Touch” by Stan Bush as the crowd pops for Jonathan Marx who walks down the ramp, he warms up a bit outside of the octagon and then begins to walk inside of it, running a quick lap around then stands in his corner.)
*
YOUNG: We send it down to Jeff Harper.
*
HARPER: The following bout is scheduled for three five minute rounds in SWIFT: MMA! Introducing first! Standing in the blue corner wearing the red and blue trunks! This man is a wrestler, and has a current SWIFT record of no loses with no wins and no draws, he stands six feet on inch tall and weighs in at two hundred pounds, hailing! From Manchester, England! He is, ELI ‘THE HEBREW HITMAN’ SCHEINBERG!!!!!
*
(The crowd begins to chant and cheer as we hear ‘MANCHESTER- LA LA LA! MANCHESTER- LA LA LA!’ All for Scheinberg.)
*
PARKER: Wow…what an ovation for Scheinberg.
*
HARPER: And his opponent….
*
[i(Crowd starts up cheering.)[/i]
*
HARPER: Standing in the red corner! This man is a wrestler and holds a currently SWIFT record of two wins with no loses and no draws with one technical knockout! He stands six feet one inch tall and weighs in at two hundred and four pounds. Coming by way of air from Princeton, New Jersey! He is none other than THE GENTLEMEN JONATHAN MARX!!!!!!! Our referee for this contest is Anthony Russell.
*
(Crowd cheers loudly as the camera pans out to get an overhead of the cage.)
*
YOUNG: Marx third mixed martial arts bout here in Texas! Here we go, Marx signaling he is ready, Scheinberg saying he is ready, and here we go! Marx right way looking to clinch, Scheinberg pushing him away.
*
PARKER: And that’s the big improvement we have seen from Jonathan Marx is that aggressiveness to just want to grab the guy and press him to that cage. Scheinberg keeping great distance here.
*
YOUNG: How about this! Scheinberg grabbing Marx for a clinch, Marx pulling away, Scheinberg in a Maui Tai clinch now! Knees to the ribs of Marx!
*
PARKER: Jonathan Marx needs to be careful here!
*
YOUNG: Marx shoots for a takedown!
*
PARKER: No! It’s stuffed by Scheinberg, good sprawl, Eli Scheinberg, on top of Marx, he is looking to spin behind!
*
YOUNG: Marx standing up blocking that spin behind and clinching Scheinberg now! Marx looking to for an ankle pick.
*
PARKER: No! Scheinberg blocks it and plants himself against the cage, good defensive thinking there, but against that cage is not where you want to be with Jonathan Marx on top of you.
*
YOUNG: Marx* with a *shoulder bump to the face of Eli Scheinberg. Scheinberg trying to find a way to reverse this clinch here, good left elbow from Marx.
*
PARKER: And it’s returned by Eli Scheinberg! This is going to be a great fight if they can keep this pace.
*
YOUNG: Look a this!!! Eli Scheinberg switches Marx on the cage! Scheinberg grabbing the left leg of Jonathan Marx, Marx has been taken down!!! Marx is on his back with Eli Scheinberg in his guard!
*
PARKER: Not a good place for Marx to be against that cage this is a perfect ground and pound position for Eli Scheinberg.
*
YOUNG: Scheinberg trying to pass the guard here, and it’s pretty tough, Marx fighting hard to keep control.
*
PARKER: Good body shot from Scheinberg, so far he has been in control of this first round on my cards, Marx fighting to keep guard…
*
YOUNG: Scheinberg passing to side control now! Not a good place for Jonathan Marx to be. Scheinberg using that wrestling to hook an arm of Jonathan Marx and keep it close as he throws knees to the ribs of Jonathan Marx.
*
PARKER: Jonathan Marx just needs to hold on here if he can, if he can hold on Anthony Russell will stand this fight back up.
*
YOUNG: Marx, a great wrestler though, caught up in the cage was taken down, and look! Using his hips to get Scheinberg back in half guard.
*
PARKER: Great move by Jonathan Marx a solid move as Scheinberg is trying to adjust…
*
YOUNG: Marx using that unbalance to get his leg in across the stomach of Scheinberg! Marx with a sweep! And it’s a scramble!!! Scheinberg on his hip Marx throwing punches, and Scheinberg gets to his feet, MARX DIVING FOR A DOUBLE LEG TAKE DOWN!
*
PARKER: HE LIFTS UP ELI SCHEINBERG……BIG SLAM!!!! AGAINST THE CAGE WITH FULL FORCE!!! SCHEINBERG IS BACK ON HIS FEET THOUGH….
*
YOUNG: OH MY GOD!!! MARX WITH A SUPLEX THIS TIME!!! WOW!!!
*
PARKER: Great display of wrestling right there! That suplex ended up with both men back on their feet though since Marx lost control and Scheinberg scrambled to his feet.
*
YOUNG: Twenty-five seconds left in the round. Marx looking to clinch Scheinberg again, maybe looking for a take down, an exchange of punches here, Marx shoots for a take down, and its stuffed by Scheinberg.
*
PARKER: Scheinberg with a re shoot of a takedown! Marx has been taken down again! Scheinberg standing to his feet shot to the midsection of Marx, and a shot to the face, I think I see a mouse forming over the left eye of Jonathan Marx now.
*
YOUNG: This round is over! We are heading into round number two! How do you score that one Andrew?

Re: Retaliation 3 1.9.2010

PARKER: Well, Jonathan Marx, he came out strong in the first few minutes but Eli Scheinberg just has some amazing wrestling skills that he has displayed by putting Marx down with take downs and really good knee shots in side control.
*
YOUNG: Entering round two of a scheduled three here in Huston, Marx versus Scheinberg, Jonathan Marx has never entered a third round in his mixed martial arts career. So let’s see what is done here.
*
PARKER: They both have exited their corners and a touch of gloves, show of respect, Marx with a jab, another and a leg kick. Scheinberg trying to answer with a *few jabs the miss, another leg kick by Marx.
*
YOUNG: Scheinberg really needs to check those kicks, that’s two in the same spot Marx has landed. And a clinch by Jonathan Marx! Some dirty boxing to the cage fence.
*
PARKER: A lot of people like to say, hey he isn’t doing anything, this is boring. This is where Jonathan Marx is most dangerous in the clinch against that cage, and elbow from Marx followed by a knee to the thigh.
*
YOUNG: You’re right Troy, Marx can really tire you out in this position, he is just kneeing the thigh of Eli Scheinberg, wearing him down slowly….
*
PARKER: BACK TRIP FROM JONATHAN MARX AS ELI SCHEINBERG TRIES TO PUSH HIM AWAY!!!
*
YOUNG: I think that was a judo move there Andrew!
*
PARKER: It was! Marx now in Scheinberg guard, let’s see how he works here, Marx easily transitioning to half guard. That’s the thing about Jonathan Marx; he will punch you then transition.
*
YOUNG: It’s a good concept, Marx in half guard closed, a jump over to side control…MARX RAINING DOWN HAMMER FISTS TO ELI SCHEINBERG!!!
*
PARKER: Scheinberg needs to be do something!!! He is reaching up trying to stop the punches….MARX HAS USED THAT ARM AND TURNED INTO AN ARM BAR!!
*
YOUNG: WOW! Marx trying to get a submission here, Scheinberg fighting he rotates his arm, Marx holding on for dear life…NO! SCHEINBERG ESCAPES* AND NOW HAS THE BACK OF JONATHAN MARX SITTING!
*
PARKER: What a great defense… Scheinberg used that arm that was slippery to roll Marx to his stomach and now has his back…Marx standing up…. Scheinberg HAS SLIPPED IN THE REAR NAKED CHOKE!!!!! MARX IS ON HIS FEET LEANING FORWARD….
*
YOUNG: Eli Scheinberg is too high……
*
PARKER: JONATHAN MARX HAS BUCKED ELI SCHEINBERG OFF HIS BACK MAKING HIS FACE PLANT ON THE CANVAS! MARX STILL ON HIS FEE CHARGING ELI SCHEINBERG….
*
YOUNG: SCHEINBERG TURNS ON HIS BACK….
*
PARKER: MARX IS JUST THROWING DOWN PUNCHES!!!!!!! SCHEINBERG GLOVES HAVE DROPPED!!!!
*
YOUNG: It is all over!!!!
*
PARKER: WHAT A TKO!!!!
*
YOUNG: Jonathan Marx has taken a TKO victory over Eli Scheinberg who is looking at Anthony Russell asking him what?
*
(Crowd begins to boo loudly.)
*
PARKER: Scheinberg arguing with Anthony Russell saying he was fine.
*
YOUNG: His gloves dropped, he wasn’t defending himself, Anthony Russell had no choice but to stop this fight.
*
PARKER: I disagree entirely, I think Eli Scheinberg just got screwed from his first MMA fight, he wasn’t knocked out, he ate a few hits but looked conscious, looked aware, this fight was called early.
*
YOUNG: Well, that’s not our call that’s why we have a referee, we send it to Jeff Harper.
*
HARPER: Ladies and gentlemen at four minutes and ten seconds of the second round Anthony Russell has called a stop to this match. Your winner by TKO, Gentlemen, JONATHAN MARX!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*
PARKER: Jonathan Marx, walks away three and zero in the cage here in Houston, Texas.
*
YOUNG: Well from all of us here at SWIFT, we bid you good night, and hopefully we will see you again shortly!
*
FADEOUT.
