FORMER RETIRED UNIFIED WORLD CHAMPION ANNOUNCES RETURN AT ULTRATITLE
In the wake of yesterday's press conference by CS Enterprises and ESEN of the return of the ULTRATITLE Tournament, speculation has begun about who will fill the 64 open spots in the open-call tournament.
One of those questions was answered today when CS Enterprises followed up with confirmation that former UNIFIED World Champion and standout in leagues such FWO, CSWA, NFW and several others, ELI FLAIR announced he would come out of retirement to participate in the tournament.
The news was leaked as rumor on the EFed Guerrillas Podcast on Thursday evening. The news was confirmed later in the evening.
While Eli Flair has competed previously for the ULTRATITLE both in the CSWA and NFW in the past, he has never won it. His last attempt was in NFW Season 2 when he reached the semifinals, losing to Nova in a brutal two-out-of-three falls match that went over 70 minutes.
