I figured I would go ahead and post this so others in the tag division can see what I'm doing and could plan some stuff out.
Gimmick: Jimmy Davis use to be one of the most powerful televangelist in the country until he was exposed as a crook. He's been kicked out of the church and lost all the money he had gathered in the process (since they were donations to the church he was spending as his personal money). He heard of NFW hiring ANYONE and when no one else would even let him show his face on so much as local television spots, he decided to go national once again. Serving as his wrestlers is the tag team of Abraham and Jacobs, who are also loyal bodyguards to Davis. Davis will use to television time he is given to try and rebuild what he lost by preaching the word of God.
While on an appearance level, everything will seem on the up and up and the Southern Baptist Coalition would be faces trying to save NFW from hell, he is actually just using the fans and the promotion for his own greedy reasons. At their core, they are heels and will do anything to advance. Nothing is below Davis. He would sell off his own grandmother for the right price.
A number of his old supporters still give him support and as he makes appearances in NFW, there is a surprise surge in attendance by little old ladies.
Mostly Southern Baptist Coalition will avoid fighting, as neither is a skiller wrestler. They are there to ask for donations and pretend to spread the word of God. Most of their appearances on the shows will come in the form of segments and such. If a tag team is looking for a quick win, this would be the team to face.
In the long run I want to try and establish that Abraham and Jacobs aren't as blind of followers as they seem, and appear to have their own agendas. But that is more long-term thinking.
