"I couldn't possibly sit here and tell you this isn't strange. In fact, this is the hardest thing I've ever had to do since entering this business. [tt]As his voice echoed... the camera slowly panned in, on the figure in the sleeveless 'Blue- Eyed Badass' t-shirt... the figure sitting on the stool, with the slight beard, and the... military-esque regular crew cut?!?
With his left hand, 'XXX' Sean Stevens ran his fingers through his once long, now short golden hair, as the camera focused in on the sideburns hanging just below his ears, and the red war mark just above his right eye, on the top of his forehead, and the carelessly tucked away bandages on his ribs... as XXXstasy looked up, searching for his next words.[/tt]
"...and, I will BE affected by this for the remainder of my stay on this planet. But, as you can see..."
[tt]Gestures toward his new hair cut, and a few of the scars and taped body parts, recieved in a mugging after winning an International Championship title, for an indy federation based in Baltimore.[/tt]
"... I've moved on with my life. I'll never forget what happened, but I'll never let it hold me in bondage. Professional wrestling is what I love. Being Triple X is my life... and, I plan on being a professional wrestler... being Triple X... being in front of a camera, beating the living hell out of the Wicked Sights', Havocs', 'Superman' Stevens', Hornets' hell... the entire CSWA roster, until my mission is complete, and my body no longer allows."
"And, I'm only 26. I haven't even peaked, and am nowhere near my prime. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times... what happens elsewhere, doesn't matter much at all. The CSWA is where it counts, and the CSWA is the only place left, that I feel the need to prove myself. So this time around... I'll do just that. I'll prove to the world that I'm not one of many young superstars in the CSWA... I'm the ONLY one that should be of any concern. I'll prove to the world that *I* am every bit as good as I - along with several promoters, and a faithful indy- fed circuit - think and say I am."
"I'm not backing down from ANYBODY on the CSWA roster for anything... in fact..."
[tt]With his right hand, he dug in his back pocket, pulling out a sheet of paper, and a blue ink pen... sitting on the bench in which he was sitting, he glanced down at the paper signing it... before turning to face the camera one more time.[/tt]
"In fact... I'm issuing a challenge to ANYBODY. To 'big name' superstar unafraid to put his reputation on the line, in fear of getting upset... or down right beaten. To anybody on the lower level of the CSWA ladder jerkin' the curtain with me... to anybody that doesn't like what I've said thus far... to anybody who thinks they can prove me wrong, shut me up, and put me in my place."

[tt]Leaving the signed contract on the bench, Triple X got up from his sitting position, backpedaling slowly out of the camera's view, as it focused in on the contract, and more importantly... the 'Sean Stevens' in blue ink, underlined.[/tt]
