Thanks for checking out Steel Combat Fighting Championship. Are you looking for a unique fed to join, get to know people, keep up your roleplaying skills, or just shoot the breeze? Then this is the place for you. We are currently looking for new members to join our family, we use that term because we strive for a family-like atmosphere. Below you will find some brief information to give you a general understanding of who we are and what we do.
About SCFC
- Obviously, we do not have the term wrestling in our name. Because we are not a wrestling promotion, we are a Mixed Martial Arts promotion (ex. Ultimate Fighting Championship).
- We do incorporate all the same stuff that most e-feds include like angles to hype fights and roleplaying to hype the competitors, so its not all that different.
SCFC Operations
- SCFC is a hybrid e-fed that emphasizes roleplaying but we have angles too, they allow us some continuity between events.
- SCFC is a e-fed that emphasizes both in-character and out of character activity, the more active you are on our forums the better impression you make on the match maker/judges. You will also earn bonus wages with your activity that allows you to buy virtual items.
- SCFC host two internet pay-per-views each month (on a bi-weekly basis).
- Typically the competitors in competition on the first internet pay-per-view of the month will not be in competition on the second internet pay-per-view of the month because of a mandatory rest period between fights (this rule may be waived).
- SCFC internet pay-per-view events are called "fight nights" and each are numbered (I, II, III and so on).
- All competitors must be original creations of their handlers.
- All media must be the original creations of the handler who posts it.
- SCFC's typical roster size varies but we strive to have at the very least 10 to 12 active competitors.
SCFC Writing Staff
If you are interested in writing for Steel Combat Fighting Championship these are the following steps you must take in order to be considered for the job:
- Must be able to commit to writing at least 1 match per event.
- Must be able to capture the nuisances and personalities of each competitor presented to us by the handler.
- Must be able to read every word of every card to stay current with the current events unfolding on every card.
- Must be able to follow simple instructions and simple formatting that will make the results pop, this also includes a decent grasp of the English language. You will be responsible for checking grammar, creativity, thoroughness, comprehension, and consistency.
Thanks for checking us out, we're looking forward hearing from you soon.
