This will be Ryan, Stratton and Troy Windham's second dances in a NFW 5-on-5 big show closer.
I thought I gave it my all with the CSWA Gold Rush. With that, I RPd Troy against I forget how many guys, a lot of whom I never had to deal with before. AND I also threw JJ DeVille into the mix. That was crazy because of how much was going on. But I had a few advantages: 1) I had an easier job at the time. 2) I only handled 2 characters. 3) Both were well-established in CSWA lore. 4) I always had a home court advantage in the CSWA. 5) I could RP Troy in an "epic" style which is easier for me to do with that character. 6) Some of the new participants were REALLY good. A bunch of others were terrible.
Here, I had to: 1) RP against/with Brunk, Pete, Billy, Siegl and JN. That's a murderer's row and everyone came on STRONG. 2) I RP'd five characters, most of whom aren't really established and are relatively new. I needed to establish them. 3) I had to make sure the voices of those characters are separate. 4) Dorchester was a ***** to write -- he's on the face side of the battle but has been booked as a truly terrible person. 5) Troy got tweaked from how I last played him to full-fledged heel mode. But this time, his heel character is on the defensive -- he has to prove he's not over-the-hill -- which is different than how I RPd him in his "prime." 6) This match has so many subtleties to it. Gold Rush didn't have too many, save for a few lingering things like Troy/Ryan and Troy/Eli. This has soooo many tiny details. 7) My job schedule's crazy now. Thankfully I was on vacation and found some time to write.
