"Now years down the road, it might come up what you where up to tonight, and the person you tell will look at you and say 'oh, so just a wrestling show, a little kicking, a little punching, but it's all fake so it's a glorified soap opera, and you're just a wrestling fan.' And you'll look at them, smile, and say...

'No, that night, that season...

We were Legion.'"

Released over the last several weeks, the Basement Tapes are an introduction to the roster of Legion's first season. The men and women that will compete to become the captain of there own team, who will draft the army that will stand together with them, the people who will become the first Dunn Cup Champions.

In the Fight for the Dunn Cup Series.

Introduced so far have been...

The Dunn Cup, Church of Fight, Brooklyn, Russel David.

James Boyd.

Sonja Duke.

Who are your four favorites to become captains?

What's a team (of three or four) that you'd like to see, and what should the name for them be?

What's the image that's caught your eye the most?

Discuss, give feedback.

DRAFT BATTLE ROYALE: Sunday morning, August 24th, 2008

LIVE DRAFT: Monday, August 25th, 6PM EST on PTC Chat

Definitely an interesting mix. A couple that caught my eye immediately:

Nibi Augustin: very nicely written take for the man (and his girl) from Traverse City. Made me imagine he was being shown through the same building that our friend in the hidden track took up residence in.

GFS: Interesting dichotomy from the two pieces -- family man to spirit of vengeance.

The Dukes: Love the sibling rivalry between the 'owner' and the 'wrestler.'

Plenty of others that I won't dig into -- looks like a great mix.

I enjoyed the hidden track too, well, just because. ;)

Won't dig into? Diiig. hah, After the Draft, I suppose.

And yeah, I was actually thinking this same thing after I saw the hidden track, just those underlying similarities between the two locations and of course the world between the two men.
