Wandering through the endless sea of docs that now inhabit my "shared with me" tab, ONE thing I keep seeing over and over and over in a lions share of the segments and matches... mind you, totally done out of complete "growing up watching WWE and WCW" induced habit, but... "Cut back to ringside" then the announcers talking.

Angus and Darren sit to the side of the stage on a raised platform (the commentation station, as I've been calling it)... go back and watch some old WCW Nitro and check out when Heenan, Tony, Bischoff were all positioned there to the right of the stage as a perfect example. You've seen the clips of Hall and Nash arriving in WCW, THAT announce booth.

So, standing in the ring, looking up at the tron starting on the LEFT it's...

RAISED INTERVIEW STAGE SITTING STAGE LEFT --> RAMP --> RAISED ANNOUNCERS BOOTH AT STAGE RIGHT

DEF is like putting on a play, think of this as our super simple stage directions. :)

Here it is in a handy map-based format! For those who can't read/prefer pictures. :)

Just realized a better example than WCW Nitro's announce booth... NXT. Watch NXT, see how their commentary booth is set up AWAY from the ring, separated by fans? That. Just like that.
