AND NOW A MESSAGE FROM WFW'S FIRST PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE...

V/O (female): The 1st Presidential Candidate has been away on business...but now he has returned. That means that by now you all have had time to let the shock set-in. You realize that you are in the presence of greatness. So it is now my pleasure to officially introduce you to WFW's First Presidential Candidate...making his campaign headquarters in Jersey City, New Jersey...Alex Wylde.
(The man gives a signal off camera. The lights come up on the silhouette to reveal Alex Wylde sitting elbows-on-knees. The American Flag background fades to highlights of Alex Wylde refereeing the Three-Falls Match between Hart and Silver.)
WYLDE: Thank you for that lovely introduction Lane, I'll take it for now. By now everybody in the league has had thorough prep time. You got to witness one of the great feats of order live on pay-per-view. Hopefully you were able to pick your collective jaw up off the floor in time to note that the scene is about to shift around here. Over to New Jersey...where I've moved from my hometown of Atlantic City and set-up headquarters across from New York in Jersey City. It is from there that I intend to run my daily operations as both the WFW's President and best wrestler...
(The background fades to scenes of people in the streets during the NY blackout as Wylde waits, not unlike a TV news anchor)
WYLDE: ...and as you can see there are a lot of people around who support me. 800 Million people can't be wrong...and a quick check of the new and improved WFW 1st Presidential Party Line reveals that that number is growing every day. What do these people know that you in the WFW do not? Plain and simple...they are wrestling fans...and they know Alex Wylde. Some of them are devoted fans...who appreciate a man who pulls no punches in his assessment of people and situations. They share my contempt for pleasantry...my devotion to efficiency. They want Alex Wylde as WFW's President. Some of these people don't like me. They hate the way I push people's buttons...they hate the way I plot...they hate that I always have a plan. But they know that I always come out on top no matter how much they wish I would fail. They'd rather hand the presidency over to
me via a vote than put someone else in office and have me remove them. They've accepted reality.

WYLDE: The only question left WFW is...which are each of you? Do you already know what I bring to the table? Are you happily calling Jersey City and joining the 1st Presidential bandwagon? Are you excited for where Alex Wylde will take you? Or maybe you oppose my campaign? You're one of the ones who will have to be convinced by watching me in in-ring action? Then you will soon realize the grim truth. No matter which type you are...Alex Wylde will be YOUR first WFW President. Why? Tell'em Lane...
