HCW is a company that has hardcore matches and hardcore titles. Innovative matches and opportunity for character development define this organization.
History
HCW is a wrestling federation that started back in 2005. It started up after NBW (Naruto Board Wrestling) Japan fed closed. The company was originally called New Blood Wrestling as a way to keep the NBW name but eventually it was decided that a complete rebranding was necessary. Although Captain Canada and Justin Dreamer remained, HCW was built on new stars like Mike Omen, Golding & Hyjinx.
The roster grew quickly, so we started our show called Nitro, purely based on hardcore wrestling. Our 3 belts were Extreme World Champion, Middleweight Title &Tag Team. HCW was going strong and moved fast from a small indy company to a main stream company. We did things ECW would never do. Eventually the owner of HCW felt like the name was not right for the company and changed it to EHW.
EHW (extreme hardcore Wrestling)
EHW went on until 2008 after owner fell ill. Great levels of success were achieved during this time with the roster remaining strong and quality matches taking place.The hardcore spirit of the federation remained, and fond memories were forged.
The Icons
Justin Dreamer was a young kid finding his mark in wrestling during this time,he started out as a rapper. He won the KG title on NBW and remained with the company through to HCW. He quickly became synonymous with the hardcore style of wrestling that HCW portrayed. His long partnership with Eric in Red Line Crew cemented his successful run in HCW.
Return
We have returned with the same owner and a new team. We see that wrestling has been missing a hardcore element with WWE being PG, and TNA missing the mark. We have new titles, new pay per views with some old ones returning as well.
Match Types Invented
Ladder to Hell
Description: A ladder is placed outside the ring by the ramp and is standing up. There are 4 tables around the ring. A petrol can is under the ring and the referee outside has the lighter. The wrestler has to ask for the lighter off of the referee.
Time: No Limit
Rules: None
To Win: Put your opponent through a flaming table from off the top of the ladder.
Barbedwire Cage With Weapons
Description: The Cage is made out of barbed wire and razor wire and it has a barbed wire roof also.
Time: No Limit
Rules: Footwear and Gloves Are Banned
To Win: Get a pin inside the ring to be able to get out of the cage. Climb it and put the ladder up on top of the cage to get the title.
What makes it different to other Feds?
Not many feds out there are as hardcore as EHW/ HCW was. We have interesting match types at every turn.
Why should I join?
Why not? HCW is a growing company and is more insane then ECW ever was. Everyone is treated equal, the best roleplay will win the match in every situation. Character building and roleplaying is very important to us. The more interesting the character, the better the company will be. Creativity is encouraged and we always like to hear advice and ideas from our members also as it allows us to get better all the time.
