TONY ROSS: Welcome everyone, to the GLCW Recap Show!

RICK WISEMAN: We have an exciting night of action for you here tonight, as we cover what transpired in Toledo, Ohio.

TONY ROSS: In the main event, Golem and Maelstrom went up against the team of Michael Manson and Masked Blazer.

RICK WISEMAN: But also in action was Sean Edmunds and Jean Rabesque, who fought in a Taped Fist Match.

TONY ROSS: Another great match-up, but enough talk, let's get to the video tape. First up, the newcomer, Nikolai Ash, went one-on-one with the Emerald Warrior.

RICK WISEMAN: Emerald Warrior has been around the GLCW since the beginning and looked more than ready for this new challenge.

CUT TO: Nikolai Ash going for a armwringer, but Emerald Warrior counters it into a pump handle slam. CUT TO: Emerald Warrior going for a powerslam, but Nikolai Ash catching him with a running knee lift. CUT TO: Ash hitting the Lexicon backbreaker. CUT TO: Ash picking up the 3 count. CUT TO: Ash walking to the back. Time of match: 9:43)

RICK WISEMAN: Well, there you have it, in our first match-up, Nikolai Ash proves that he is not some random rookie, but I legitimate threat to anyone in the entire GLCW.

TONY ROSS: That is definitely someone who we will want to keep our eyes on. I see only good things in this kid's future. He should do well to climb the ladder of success here in the GLCW.

RICK WISEMAN: Absolutely. Speaking of young talent trying to climb the ladder here in GLCW, two young talents, one new and one who has been around since the beginning, squared off next.

TONY ROSS: Yes, the very gifted Cameron Cruise has joined the ranks and he went one-on-one with Jon Savage here.

(CUT TO: Cameron Cruise coming down to the ring. CUT TO: Jon Savage and Wildside coming down to the ring. CUT TO: The two exchanging punches. CUT TO: Cameron backing Savage into a corner, then Savage kicking Cameron low. CUT TO: Cruise spinebustering Savage. CUT TO: Savage escaping a sleeper with a jawbreaker. CUT TO: Savage sticking his thumb in Cruise's eye. CUT TO: Cruise catching Savage and hitting a backbreaker on him. CUT TO: Savage and Cruise brawling out to the floor. CUT TO: Savage throwing Cruise into the ring steps. CUT TO: Cruise rolling back into the ring at the count of 8. CUT TO: Savage going for a swinging neckbreaker, but Cruise countering it with a clothesline. CUT TO: Cruise going off the ropes, and Wildside hitting Cruise in the head with her shoe. The referee turned and saw it. CUT TO: Savage and Lyla double-teaming the downed Cruise after the bell has rung. Time of match: 10:24)

TONY ROSS: Well, this match still could've went either way, until Wildside tried to interfere. The referee caught him and disqualified Savage, giving Cameron Cruise the victory.

RICK WISEMAN: Still, they got their shots afterwards, and I am sure that Cameron Cruise would like to eventually see a rematch somewhere down the line.

TONY ROSS: That could very be, and that would be a very interesting rematch. But, coming up next, the tag team Gridlock matched up with the recent pairing of Nick Kurtel and Xanatos.

RICK WISEMAN: I'll tell you what, I like Xanatos and Kurtel. They are both fast, young, very talented wrestlers, and Nick Kurtel has some solid wrestling experience under his belt.

TONY ROSS: Certainly, this duo could go far, but they can't overlook the team of Raze and Nuke. Let's go to the match.

(CUT TO: Gridlock coming to the ring with Sterling. CUT TO: Xanatos and Kurtel coming to the ring. CUT TO: Raze sidewalk slamming Xanatos. CUT TO: Xanatos dropkicking Raze. CUT TO: Xanatos and Kurtel double suplexing Nuke. CUT TO: Nuke clothesline Kurtel's head off. CUT TO: Raze hitting a chokeslam on Kurtel. CUT TO: Kurtel going for the hot tag to Xanatos, but Raze cutting him off. CUT TO: Nuke and Raze double backdrop Kurtel. CUT TO: Raze with a torture rack backbreaker to Kurtel. CUT TO: Kurtel countering a suplex into a small package. Raze kicks out. CUT TO: Kurtel countering a Raze powerbomb into a hurricanrana package pin. Time of match: 5:13.)

TONY ROSS: Short match, and it ended just as the duo of Gridlock was trying to get momentum going. Just proof that a match is always just 3 seconds away from being over.

RICK WISEMAN: And sometimes, even less time than that.

TONY ROSS: Well, in this next match, that's true, because this one was over before it began. Troy Martinez, who suffered that heinous attack by Michael Manson, could not participate, so, sorry for the fans who were in attendance, but the match between him and Chris O'Neill had to be cancelled.

TONY ROSS: Our thoughts go out to Troy and we wish him the best.

RICK WISEMAN: But we must move on and up next, "El Diablo" Angel Castillo went one-on-one with Chris McMillan.

TONY ROSS: Both these guys have been struggling to establish themselves in the crowded talent pool in GLCW. But, they both are ready and willing to take that next step. This match could be a crucial one for both these men.

RICK WISEMAN: Absolutely, when you see all the gifted athletes in the GLCW, you have to win. You can't be content with just contesting for the win, results have got to be the goal.

TONY ROSS: Let's get to the video.

(CUT TO: Angel Castillo coming to the ring with Sly Sterling. CUT TO: "The Wolf" coming to the ring. CUT TO: Castillo with a mexican armdrag. CUT TO: Castillo with a headbutt. CUT TO: Chris McMillan hitting a crossbody block off the top rope. CUT TO: Chris McMillan on the top rope, but Sly Sterling pushes him off. CUT TO: Angel Castillo hitting a side suplex. CUT TO: Castillo uses a surfboard. CUT TO: Castillo going for a powerbomb. McMillan pushes him off, and runs off the ropes. Sterling grabs his leg and slows him down. McMillan yells at Sterling, then, when he turns around, gets caught in a powerbomb. Castillo goes for it, but McMillan counters it into a victory roll. Castillo rolls through it, grabs a handful of tights, and steals the 3 count. Time of match: 9:34)

TONY ROSS: "El Diablo" proves that it is indeed useful to have a good manager in your corner.

RICK WISEMAN: And it doesn't hurt any to cheat any chance possible and use the tights to get the pinfall.

TONY ROSS: A smart move, nonetheless. Deplorable tactics, but I am sure that if you put half the wrestlers in the GLCW in the same position, they would do the same.

RICK WISEMAN: Perhaps, but I am not sure "The Wolf" won't be on the hunt for some revenge in the near future.

TONY ROSS: Speaking of a man on a search for revenge, Jarod Poe has very much to be vengeful about after Masked Blazer set Poe's face ablaze.

RICK WISEMAN: Then, Poe drove a metal spike through Blazer's eye, so I guess all is even?

TONY ROSS: I doubt that, but right now, he will have to focus on his current opponent, "Showtime" Steven James.

RICK WISEMAN: "Showtime" has been making quite an impression around the GLCW and this is a great opportunity for him to grab a serious upset and make a name for himself.

TONY ROSS: Absolutely, word is that Jarod is set for a three-way match with Golem and Manson at the upcoming Riptide, so Jarod will definitely want to grab some momentum going into that big match-up. Let's to the ring.

(CUT TO: Steven James entering the ring. CUT TO: Jarod Poe entering the ring. CUT TO: Jarod clotheslining James off his feet. CUT TO: Poe DDTing James. CUT TO: James ducking a clothesline, coming back and countering a backbody drop with a kick to the face. Poe stands up stunned, and James clotheslines him over the top rope. CUT TO: Steven James hitting a slingshot plancha onto Poe and both men going down hard. CUT TO: Poe hitting the "Poison Dart" on the ring floor. CUT TO: Poe running him into the apron and then shoving James back in. CUT TO: Poe going for the "Black Circle Of Death" but James counters it into a big swinging DDT. CUT TO: James whining after a two count, and then running off the ropes, and catching Poe with a bulldog. CUT TO: James going for a belly-to-belly and then Poe landing behind him. Poe locks in the "Wings of Death" choke sleeper. James runs him backfirst into the turnbuckle. CUT TO: James hitting the reverse suplex. CUT TO: James hoisting Poe up for the "Lights Out", but Poe landing on his feet. Poe hits a Death Valley Driver. Poe doing the throat-slash symbol. CUT TO: Poe places James on the top, and then goes up after him. He hits the "Sudden Impact" Super German suplex. Poe with the 3 count. Time of match: 14:19)

TONY ROSS: Great match by both these competitors, but it was just too much Jarod Poe in the end.

RICK WISEMAN: Yes, he has alot of high impact moves in his arsenal and this was a great tune-up match for that world title match. One of the other two will be coming off a depressing loss in tonight's main event, so Poe was lucky to fulfill his end of the deal by putting away Steven James. Hopefully he will also have as much luck in dealing with Masked Blazer.

TONY ROSS: That is a very heated rivalry, but here is another one. Sean Edmunds has made his debut to GLCW and he has been gunning after one man and one man only. Jean Rabesque has been his target and he has been relentless in his quest for redemption.

RICK WISEMAN: Edmunds is a very seasoned veteran, much the same as Rabesque, and these two have worked up quite the history between them. Now, they try to settle their differences in a Taped Fist Match. The rules state you have to knock your opponent out for 10 seconds to win.

TONY ROSS: These guys are both tough, but with taped fists, these guys have the strength to legitimately knock the other man out cold. Let's go to the ring.

(CUT TO: Sean Edmunds coming to the ring, his fists taped up. CUT TO: Jean Rabesque coming to the ring, his fists also taped. CUT TO: The two men squaring off like a boxing match. Edmunds connects with some short jabs, but when he goes for the haymaker, Rabesque ducks and starts pounding his midsection. CUT TO: Rabesque hitting a backfist punch. Rather than letting the ref count, he starts pulling back the neck of Edmunds as he stands on Edmund's lower back. CUT TO: Rabesque going for a right hand off the ropes, and then Edmunds grabbing him from behind with a German suplex. As the ref is checking Rabesque, Edmunds undoes the turnbuckle pad. CUT TO: Rabesque back up, then Edmunds going for a rabbit punch. Rabesque spears Edmunds and starts unloading on. Edmunds' nose is busted up and it starts bleeding. CUT TO: Edmunds fighting his way to his feet at 6. The ref checks to see his nose isn't broken, and Edmunds pushes the ref away. Rabesque comes in for some jabs, but Edmunds gets inside and hits an atomic drop. CUT TO: Edmunds hitting a butterfly suplex. CUT TO: Edmunds going for a powerbomb, but Rabesque gets a double leg pickup. He hooks on the Figure Four. CUT TO: Edmunds getting up at 5, but then his leg giving and him falling back down. He uses the ropes to help him up at 9. CUT TO: Rabesque coming in for the knockout shot, but Edmunds hits a mule kick and back elbow. Rabesque's mouth starts bleeding. CUT TO: Rabesque with hard punches pushes Edmunds into the corner. He whips him across, but Edmunds counters. Rabesque's back hits the exposed turnbuckle, and he bounces out right into a stiff right cross by Edmunds. The ref starts the count. When he gets to 9, and Rabesque is still not moving, Edmunds nails the ref across the face with a right cross, knocking him out, too. Bell rings, signalling the end of the match. Time of match: 21:47. Post match: Edmunds stands up the unconscious Rabesque and hits him with his northern lights suplex. He spits on Jean and says the following:

"I had you Jean. I had you and I let you go. You're not ready. Call me when you are. Then I'll complete what I started here.")

TONY ROSS: Wow, what an awesome match by two ferocious competitors. Edmunds let Rabesque escape this match...and he wants Rabesque to call him when he's ready?

RICK WISEMAN: I don't know, but this one should very certainly be interesting, come the rematch at Massive Assault. It is set to feature these two athletes in an "I Quit" match!

TONY ROSS: These are both very proud men and it will take an awful lot to get them to say that.

RICK WISEMAN: Well, speaking of intense competitors, four of GLCW's top talent got together in a Texas Tornado, No Disqualifications match.

TONY ROSS: When you put lunatics like Manson, Maelstrom, Golem, and Masked Blazer all in the same ring, you simply begging for trouble. Then, when you throw away the rule book, and you take away the "tag in, tag out" style, all you really have is four men that are trying to kill eachother.

RICK WISEMAN: This one could be one of the most brutal matches ever, and I can't wait to see it. Let's get down to the ring.

(CUT TO: Masked Blazer coming to the ring. On his way, Jarod Poe runs down after him and stops pounding him. He hits the "Fading Light" on the stage and then continues to put the boots to him. Eventually, he spits on Masked Blazer and then walks away. CUT TO: Michael Manson coming to the ring. He just kind of stares at the downed Masked Blazer. CUT TO: Golem coming to the ring. He stops when he gets to Masked Blazer, looks up at Manson, and then begins to pummel the already downed Masked Blazer. CUT TO: Maelstrom coming out and jumping Manson. CUT TO: Maelstrom and Manson trading punches. Maelstrom hits a punch that knocks Manson to the ground. As Maelstrom goes over to him, though, Manson hits a punch to the nether regions. Manson goes to his boot and produces a chain that he strangles Maelstrom with. CUT TO: Golem running in and breaking it. He goes for a German suplex, but Manson hits him across the face with the chain. CUT TO: Maelstrom hitting Manson with a steel chair. CUT TO: Manson countering a big clothesline by Maelstrom with a shoulder butt ot the stomach. CUT TO: Manson going for a suplex on Golem, only to have Golem counter with one of his own, and drop Manson straight out of the ring with it. CUT TO: Golem applying the Claw to Manson on the floor, but Masked Blazer finally comes down and breaks it up with a steel chair. CUT TO: Masked Blazer and Maelstrom brawling in the ring, while Manson produces a can of lighter fluid from under the ring. He goes to the ringkeeper and takes her wooden chair. He douces it in lighter fluid, produces matches, and ignites the seat part of it. He brings it over and hits the distracted Maelstrom in the back with it. He then throws it Golem's face. CUT TO: Golem grabbing a kendo stick, sticking it into the fiery mass of the former chair, and hitting Manson across the back with it. CUT TO: Golem hitting a full nelson faceslam on Masked Blazer. CUT TO: Manson slapping the Tourniquet Crossface on Golem, but Maelstrom breaks it up. CUT TO: Maelstrom holding Manson, but Manson moves and Golem nails Maelstrom. Maelstrom is not at all pleased and Golem and Mael exchange loud, opinionated yelling. They then both turn suddenly and double DDT Manson. The two stare at each other a while more, than return to wrestling. CUT TO: Masked Blazer attempting a powerbomb on Golem, but Golem counters it into the Back Drop Driver. Maelstrom hooks in the Mortal Sin and Manson, who is making his way back onto the apron, gets clotheslined off by Golem and goes backfirst in the guardrail. Masked Blazer taps out. Time of match: 27:01)

TONY ROSS: A great match-up as all four gave it their all.

RICK WISEMAN: Manson was forced to shoulder most the work for his team because Poe had injured Masked Blazer, pre-match, and still did an impressive job holding his own against some of the world's toughest opponents.

TONY ROSS: But, in the end, Manson couldn't fend them off, and despite Masked Blazer's efforts through his injuries, Maelstrom and Golem were too much and they take this victory.

RICK WISEMAN: Well, that's all from here in the studio. We'll see you all next time, right here on the GLCW Recap Show!
