The Total J Cup is on! This Friday and Saturday from The Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Round One matches will take place featuring twenty-six of the world's most talented junior heavyweights all striving to be the best and call themselves this year's Total J Cup Trophy Champion!

Night One will feature six one-on-one matches, while Night Two will feature five one-on-one matches and a four corner survival match to open the show. Night Two will also be very special as the main event will feature Jay Jerzey and Patrick McCarthy, both of Simcoe County Championship Wrestling, going head to head. These former best friends turned rivals will headline the Round One doubleshot night from Philly!

The historic tournament also prominently features the stars of Pro Wrestling X including Brian Hollywood, Tyler Graves, and John Pariah, plus SCCW brings the pain with talents such as Patrick McCarthy, Damion Darkside, Sally Screw, and Jay Jerzey, while we'll see the return to the ring and final curtain call for former Headstrong Wrestling Champion, Kris CarMicheal. The fWo is represented by one Max Danger, and numerous Japanese and Lucha Libre talents will also make appearances including Lupin Cy, Spooky Doom, and others.

ABOUT
In June 2004, Headstrong Wrestling(HSW) promoter Joey Matthew created the TOTAL J CUP, a tournament showcasing the skills and abilities of the Junior Heavyweight division(230lbs and under). The tournament was devised as well in-part to crown a new HSW Junior Heavyweight Champion after then-champion Man With No Name(MWNN) was injured in a Six Man Tag Team Match at a HSW event. He held the Junior Heavyweight Title for over 9 months and made that championship and division the most prestigious in HSW. The TOTAL J CUP was created to launch a worldwide search for the world's absolute best junior heavyweight after the sudden injury of who many considered the absolute best, MWNN. After the 2004 tournament concluded, MWNN presented the Title and J Cup Trophy to the winner, Johnny Razor, and from there on out the tournament grew with more entrants and the J Cup Trophy became the sole goal of the participants. The TOTAL J CUP has featured some of the best contests and high caliber match-ups over the three years it has been held, crowning winners such as Johnny Razor, Digital Mortality, and Javier Sikkan. This year 26 men will compete to decide who is the best in the world.

This year, the Total J Cup tournament kicks off Round One matches on two seperate nights, all beginning November 20th and November 21st. Between the two nights, all thirty-four competitors will compete in a variety of matches featuring singles, triple threat, tag team, and four corner survival matches. After Round One is complete, there will be twelve men remaining. From then on, all matches will be straight up one on one. The tournament will conclude Sunday, December 20, 2009, as we will crown our 2009 Total J Cup winner.
