(CUT TO: A trailer on a Hollywood movie set with a sign that reads 'MOHAWK RIVER' on the door. It opens up, and a man wearing a fedora hat, dressed in 1930s-style depression clothing, is going over lines. He's recognizable. Finally, he begins to speak. And it's clear that this is TROY WINDHAM.)
TROY: (Reciting lines, read with gripping pathos) "Delilah! Delilah! I never want to let you down! You're my beautiful daughter and you're all I've got left in this upside-down-world! But it's just that... well... there ain't no jobs left here. If we're going to make it... if we're going to survive... we're going to have to leave Mohawk River forever!"
Troy looks up to the camera as he puts his line down.
TROY: "Oh, hello there. I had no idea that you would arrive early. It's not really like a wrestling company to arrive with their camera on time. I'm sure all of you at home watching this right now are already on Twitter and Tik Tok and the like screaming in excitement. But, yes, it's me -- Troy Windham. I'm here on the set of the newest Hulu period drama Mystic River, and it's already being whispered by the trades that I'm winning an Emmy for this. But we're wrapping up filming Season One this week. And I'm a discerning man. I don't just take any roles offered to me, and you know I don't do auditions. I only appear in top quality productions. That's why you saw me in my big run as a ADA Thompkins on CBS's Blue Bloods, where on top of being a strident prosecutor with an eye for social justice, I was Bridgette Moynihan's love interest."
"So I got some downtime in my schedule right now and I said to myself... Troy, you owe SO much to the little people who made you a Cable Ace Award winning actor. And who are those little people? Why, it's all the people in the world of professional wrestling, where I got my start. Now, so many of my Hollywood friends - not to namedrop, but I just had sushi with the cast of Chicago Fire last week - think that professional wrestling is beneath me. And, yes, they're right. But I am a person who has always believed in charity and giving back... and my sense of duty to improving the lives of those unable to do it on their own is why I am right here on your screens in Defiance or whatever this is called."
"Ladies and gentlemen... Troy Windham has arrived! And while I await my Emmy trophy... I'll just take some other kind of gold in the meantime."

Wrestler(s) Information
Please take note of a couple things. It is highly likely that a few roster members will critique your moveset. Please don't be offended. We take that seriously here - we don't want a moveset full of finishers and a finisher so ludicrously over-elaborate that it couldn't be done in real life. This goes double if you're applying as a female wrestler. We also check to make sure your finisher(s) and theme song aren't currently being used. It's first come first serve when it comes to those. If you want to get ahead of the game on the finisher and theme song front, take a look at our roster page: http://defiancewrestling.com/roster
And if you're one of those handlers who hates doing movesets, just say so and we'll help you.
Ring Name:
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 235 LBS
Hailing From: Now making his residence in South Beach, Miami
Alignment: Heel
Gimmick: Aging former superstar-turned-actor who stars in police procedurals and overwrought streaming platform dramas. This gives him a gigantic ego and a full lack of self-awareness.
Wrestling Style: Cagey, wily ring general veteran. While he may have lost a step in quickness and strength, his knowledge of how to bend and break every rule is his ultimate strength. He also loves to use his acting ability to dupe opponents -- overselling injuries, faking pain, etc. to lure people into his trap.
Three Weaknesses:
AGE - He's in his mid-40s and has lost a lot of speed, strength and agility.
ARROGANCE -His constant disrespect of opponents often leads to his downfall.
ETERNALLY BAD NECK -- He's never quite healed from a major neck injury he suffered in the late 1990s, along with other injuries incurred over time.
Three Strengths:
HEEL SMARTS - He knows every trick in the book and will stoop to any level of low to get ahead.
ACTING ABILITY - He has an ability to trick opponents with his acting strengths. This also plays into his relationships with other wrestlers, as he's able to con people into alliances he breaks, sway others to get ahead and more.
EXECUTION - Troy has never had the fanciest of move sets. But what he does he executes with near perfection almost all of the time. His tall, wiry frame and athleticism also put him in a good advantage against all opponents -- stronger than smaller foes, faster than larger foes, fast enough to not be at a disadvantage against smaller opponents, strong enough to hold his own against the giants. NOTE: Troy will never try anything off the top rope anymore, except out of desparation, due to his advanced age.
