First of all, writing assignments will go out this evening. I'm headed out with the family for the day, so sending out booking is on the to-do list for tonight.
Secondly, and most importantly. And I don't want to say this more than this one time.
Is it really too much to ask, if you plan on leaving EPW or intend on ducking out in the middle of an angle/feud that many people have worked on for months, that you send me a personal message, instant message, email, facebook message... any of the ways that almost all of you have to reach me and tell me personally that you plan to leave?
Now, this is being made as a general blanket statement, and is not behavior that 99% of you are guilty of, but for the second time in the last few weeks, someone has left the fed without so much as a word to me.
If you have time to make a post on my forums, or a post on a blog, or have time to start up your own project after silently leaving my fed in this manner, you have time to be a F***ING MAN and at least tell me personally that you're unhappy, or don't have time, or just don't feel like being here anymore. Any of these reasons are fine with me. Tell me you don't like people from Texas. Tell me you saw my picture on facebook and hate my haircut. I don't care. But tell me yourself.
If you can't extend me this basic courtesy, please know that I am taking your leaving as a final decision that you don't care who your decision affects or how much work and effort they've put into making you a big part of storylines, and furthermore that you are making a firm decision never be a part of EPW ever again.
For almost all of you, this is all a given. You wouldn't think of turning tail and taking off without saying anything. I have a group here that I'm proud of, but I need this to be clear. In case you ARE thinking along the lines of those I'm referring to, let there be no misunderstanding on how I feel about it.
I don't care if you write matches until your face turns blue, turn in segments every week, I expect courtesy and a little fu**ing respect. Period.
That's it.
