As per usual I will elect not to nominate my own wrestler/matches for any consideration, but I do want to say that I thoroughly enjoyed First/Anarky and found it gripping and quite entertaining. The flow of the match was excellent and I was hanging on by a thread. Thanks very much for writing the match, especially at the last minute. Job well done. Very epic feel to it.

So.

Match of the Night: Stevens/Copycat and Astros/Brown were both very good, I'd give a slight nod to Stevens/Copycat just because of the storyline involved and the way it pushed character development and told a story going forward.

Wrestler of the Night: Donovan Astros wins a big match over Karl Brown and takes another step towards stardom, good things to come for this guy.

Heel of the Night: Copycat. Anybody who can make Stevens come off like some kind of humble hero has gotta be pretty evil, hah. Plus the nonstop chairshots didn't hurt. Honorable mention for Stalker, though there needs to be some kind of development other than constant run-ins.

Face of the Night: Stevens or Astros. Astros with a huge win over Brown is a big face pop, but Stevens being massacred by chair shots probably gives him a slight edge.

Overall Thoughts: Whew! What a long card! Not a ton of matches, but some of them were incredibly epic. Really interested to see where the Stevens/Copycat stuff goes from here, and would like to see Stalker take a step forward from the run-ins. Enjoying Astros taking a step to the next level, though that does leave Brown in kind of a tough spot, and big win of Michael Bastard gets him on the title ship. Should be interesting to see how contents for the IC belt. Also very interested to see how the First handles things going forward. Overall very well-written card, especially considering the issues finding cardwriters. As always, great job from everyone.

I've been checking out the Stevens/Copycat angle when I've been able because of my obvious bias toward Short and anything he's writing - and I know I missed a bunch when I was on vacation but I missed the part where Copycat kidnapped Trip's son. Can someone point me in the right direction? For obvious reasons I'm interested in how that plays out.

Pete, my understanding of how Jamar intended that... keeping in mind that because of the delay it's been awhile since we chatted about it... is that it's something that happened off-screen, was a rumor, then was confirmed on the show. Jay can correct me if I'm wrong. He was meant to have a mic spot right there also, but that didn't materialize, so I had to improvise the announcers confirming it instead of Stevens.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah he had said to me he wanted to do something collaborative since we co-created the character, but it never materialised. Also, Short - where ya been?

Anyways, show was really good. Big ups to the Nark for the World Title win.

Match of the night: First/Anarky hands down. Although I didn't quite grasp why Muse was interfering, I did quite love the back and forth and flow of the match. You can't ask for much more in a main event and big props to whoever wrote it.

Wrestler of the night: Obviously Anarky. EPW's top faces collide and he came out on top. I personally was sad to see First's title reign end on that card but nevertheless I look really forward to seeing what Anarky has in store. Not to mention if he looks to seek any revenge against Stalker as this was Stalker's second attack on Anarky, even if it was a mistake.

Heel of the night: Copycat for sure. Stevens/Copycat's angle has been great so far and continues to be a good read. It's hard to elaborate more on what Josh already said, because he basically said it all already.

Face of the night: One guess... same as wrestler of the night.

Overall thoughts: Awesome PPV glad to see it finally posted, alot of people stepped up to help get it going and get it posted and I am really really looking forward to the Lethal Lottery Brunk has planned for us. I would also think it would be really cool if it was a variant of the WCW Battle Bowl or whatever it was called but anything is fine by me. Other then that Stalker did have some more "antics" set up for Unleashed however they never really materialized into anything, but there is certainly more in store as we move along.

Also PLEASE could I get some other replies to my 2010 awards of the year post? I know it may have gone unnoticed but would like to hear your guys opinion on the year that was before it gets too far off in the distance. 83 views and only I replied :(.

Match of the night: This is a toss up between the TV title and the Stevens/Copycat match for me. I really enjoyed the flow of both matches, and on the write-ups I feel the TV title came out of the match looking fantastic. I'm going to lean towards the TV title for this one, mostly because the belt's come out of the PPV stronger than I've ever seen it.

Wrestler of the night: Anarky. Showed himself to be no-nonsense, and (I hope!) the match served to demonstrate just why the character is so good. Honourable mentions go to Sean Stevens and Donovan Astros.

Heel of the night: Copycat. Taking things out of the wrestling arena and having them referenced (but not shown) was an interesting choice and shows Cat in a new light for me.

Face of the night: I've got to go with Anarky again here. It's weird because I wrote the main event with him as the heel but reading back over a couple of the "never-say-die" moments in it from 'Nark he's the one I think the fans would've had the most face appreciation for. First looked strong in his dealings with Stalker and (again, I hope) left the World Title match strongly, but I'm leaning towards Anarky again.

Overall thoughts: A really nice read. I thought some of the matches were a little over long - 3 matches would've been over 30 minutes each - but it was really nicely written and set up some quite interesting scenarios going into the next PPV cycle. The TV title is looking really strong, the World title always looks strong, and we've got a couple of really exciting feuds to look forward to.
