shooting for within 48 hours.

Me too. I'll be honest, I slacked off when I saw other people hadn't put stuff in yet. I am the worst for the peer pressure of apathy... plus I wanna write a nice pretty match full of loveliness. I AM VERY SORRY BRUNK.

Same...procrastination + the need to replace a computer battery and charger + another match for CSWA that I need to wrap up first = me being lame and not having anything in yet. I'm going to try my damndest to make something super cool in the timeframe I gave!

Don't worry about it. I'll have all my stuff in next week, likely Wednesday or Thursday, so you got time. I got hit with something resembling a social life this week, hopefully it'll pass quickly.

Really sorry! I'd hoped to get it in on Tuesday but had some urgent applications to send off for the acting world. Got the match in front of me right now, hopefully it'll be finished tonight, if not then I'll crack some more through before class tomorrow.

Well shoot.

My original plan, which was PMd to Brunk, was to finish the match by the end of the weekend. I worked from 8am-midnight Saturday in preparation/execution of a major work event, with the thought that Sunday would be a day off where I'd be able to sit down with all the Jim Beam in the world and crank out some match action. Matchtion. Then, I find out at about 11pm Saturday that hey, they need me in the office Sunday as well. Just got back from work now (a shade before 10pm central time).

Needless to say, I only expect to be partially done with the match before I fall asleep. But I will steal work time tomorrow if I have to in order to get this match in. I've been delaying this too long, and FWC in general has been dead the last couple months due to people like me not getting off their asses.

Apologies for my lateness. It'll be in tomorrow.

As per Brunk, last Thursday, you are certainly not alone*. So while you should expedite as quickly as you can, you are not singularly responsible for the posting of Unleashed.

*I am alone. As of last Thursday I was the only one who had finished, so I am the antithesis of you slacking bastard for once.

This Friday, I'm probably posting one line results for this entire PPV show, if I don't get the matches.

I'm really tired of waiting.

I can only apologise for letting you down on this one so far, it should be in by now and I know it. It will be in by Wednesday at the very latest (I know, I know but I want to make sure this match gets in.)

Brunk, I'm really sorry to keep you waiting. April's been a bad month in terms of motivation. Had a series of financial pitfalls that haven't exactly put matchwriting at the top of my list of priorities. Not giving you an excuse... just an explanation.

I'll do what I can to have my parts done by Friday. Not making any promises, because I think we all know I have a habit of breaking them.

Just a random thought from a fedhead. Excuses about how shitty and busy life gets tend to go in one ear and out the other. Especially when anyone who is paying attention can see how often someone is on the forum. It takes an hour and a bit of discipline to write a match, people who don't have those should stop signing up and holding up the show. Believe me, the shows can't get any later.

Okay... I won't disagree, but I will point out that at the beginning of the month, I did offer to pass this match off if the wait was becoming too much. As Brunk himself said, "Quality trumps timeliness." Shitty and busy life aside, the main thing holding up my obligation to get this match was finished was being a fedhead myself, trying to finish up my own card.

Clearly though, I have neither hours nor discipline... so, out of respect to all the handlers waiting on me to get my shit together, I'll just opt out from this point on, and pass the task of the main event on to anybody willing and brave enough to write such an opus. Consider the Straw Epic toast.

...Bueller?

I also have a million excuses nobody wants to hear, but I'll have one of my matches in by tomorrow before I go to work, it's almost done now, just got to get to the end, up to Brunk if he wants to wait another week, I'll lock myself away on my days off and get my second match and the main event done and posted or we can go to the 1 liner if I don't.

As it stands right now, I'd say I'm about 5 pages away from completion. At this point I imagine it will be done by Saturday afternoon, if you guys want me to finish what I started.
