Just a final note on Unleashed Matchwriting - and the only reason I'm not making this date sooner is because I'm in the midst of getting over a weeklong illness, in addition to being in the middle of finals. My finals for this term are over and done with on January 25th. On January 26th, we are moving on. What that entails, I haven't decided yet.
However, the way EPW runs and keeping it running is heavily contingent on my getting help from people in the fed. As long as that has consistently happened, we've moved along very well and done good things. Keep in mind, I use the word "we've", because EPW has never been about me running a fed. It's about me making a place where a group of handlers can cooperatively tell stories and compete in a hobby we enjoy. I make the calls on direction, on booking and on what goes onto the shows, but it's always been a group effort.
Now, I realize the forums issues damn near crippled this site and its activity. I realize it's the holidays. But I feel I need to make a drop dead date for this show, and I think I've been exceedingly generous in not making one much much sooner.
So, just know that January 26th is the absolute drop dead date for Unleashed to be completed.
Originally, I had hoped to have it done before Christmas - so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I understand, but I'm still disappointed.
On January 26th, we move on.
