Thank you for your interest in the United States Wrestling League, or USWL for short, role-playing electronic federation. Before filling out your application, we wanted to take a few moments to brief you on the state of the promotion, what is expected of you, and what you can expect of us.
The USWL is 100% role-play driven. You will be expected to role-play if you are booked. Winners are determined by the federation head in terms of role-play entertainment, quality, and match/opponent incorporation. You will never be required to write a match or segment, however, you are encouraged to do so when you can.
There will be one bi-weekly show with a two role-play maximum. Pay-Per-View shows will happen every four to six weeks and will have a slightly higher maximum. Two consecutive regular show no-shows will result in automatic termination from the promotion. One Pay-Per-View no-show will result in automatic termination from the promotion.
Currently, the promotion is in developmental stages. We plan to open the promotion website to the public on or before June 4th, 2011. Until then, accepted members will be given access to the forums and backstage, in order to familiarize yourself with it. If by chance we gather enough members to run a show before we release the site to the public, we will.
The USWL is run by Ben Halkum, who owns and operates The E-Wrestling Magazine. He has been in electronic wrestling since 1996, with over fourteen years of fed head experience. The USWL will utilize the Smith Micro Poser program for roster images. You will be provided a roster image when time allows for its creation.
The site is currently being developed by Tyler Serio, and will be one of the most graphically intriguing sites in electronic wrestling. We will utilize Ross Fynmore's Backstage v3 script for day to day operation, allowing you to post role-plays, write segments, and configure your character on the fly as needed.
Our promise to you is on time results. A lot of consideration was taken before deciding to pursue this promotion. We feel as if you take the time to join and participate, you should be rewarded accordingly.
